Role play on MS teams as a management consultant
In regard to UK companies it is stated and found from research that employees at
workplace are not happy as they do not like to spend and work in companies. Unhappy
employees are the main reason of failure of business so it is important for all companies of UK to
focus on this main area and increasing employees’ satisfaction. By conducting questionnaire and
participating in, main reasons of problems that employees are facing and that is making them
unhappy can be known. As a Management consultant and as a role play in questionnaire some
questions have been asked from employees of UK organizations such as:
I am not satisfied with my wages as I feel that I work more than the pay that I get and I feel
it is not valued. It is making is dissatisfied and unhappy with my job role and workplace. Also, I
feel that there are longer working hours and as a manager you should pay on hourly basis rather
paying on monthly basis. Due to longer working hours I face problems in managing a balance
between my personal and professional life. It is affecting my both lives and you need to consider
my grievance as I am totally unhappy with my job and with this. I find problems in completing
my personal work so you should provide flexibility in working hours and also allow work from
home in some situation. I hope you will understand all of m problems.
As a manager it is my responsibility to take care of all employees and identify their
problems so, as my job role I will consider your needs and problems. As I heard all of your
problems and not came to know that why are you unhappy with your job role and why your
productivity is decreasing. I will try my best and focus on all these areas.
Solutions: So, on the basis of all causes of unhappy employees at workplace of the UK, it
can be said that companies need to consider this area and develop internal strategies accordingly.
When employees were asked about recommendations for improving performance and areas on
which company should focus for making them happy then they suggested some strategies. So, on
the basis of role play information and as a consultant management it can be suggested to
companies of the UK that they should make changes in flexible policies, changes in
communication, organization culture and others. It is believed that when employees are being
given flexibility in working hours then they are more likely to make a balance between personal
and professional life. It makes them feel valued and motivated. They feel energetic and refreshed
at workplace that is vital for improving performance and feeling happy at workplace.
