INTRODUCTION
The nature of business environment is dynamic and there is key are certain problems that
take place at the time of doing business. There is need of effective problem solving skills that
will help to carry on the work in effective manner and attain goals and objectives successfully
(Sowko, Fennimore and Drahnak, 2019). The problem discussed in this case is related to
ineffective communication in the business organisation that has impact on the employee’s
productivity. In the report, there is evaluation related to the topic and the impact on business. It is
important to devise the alternative options that will be used. The plan for implementing the
solution is formulated in the report. It is necessary to communicate the plan to stakeholders. The
best solutions are being implemented and monitored to achieve best results.

Define a complex problem in the workplace
In effective communication is one of the major problem that is seen in the workplace. There
is need of managing the work in such a manner that the all the problems are solved. There is
need of understanding that ineffective communication is major problem for the business (Zahra
and Feng, 2018). The use of right tools and techniques is necessary for the company so that they
are able to successfully achieve goals and objectives. It is seen that ineffective communication is
problematic for business and reduces the productivity of the employees.
Scope: Due to ineffective communication there are certain problems that take place. The
company is unable to contact with the employees. They are not able to understand their roles and
responsibilities and then their productivity reduces. This is a complex problem for the business
organisation.
Impact: The impact of ineffective communication is directly on the success of business
organisation. There is need of carrying the work in such a manner that impacts the business and
their performance. The employees are unable to work in team and they are not able to achieve
the targets (Shitu and et.al., 2018). It reduces the morale of the employees and they are not able
to work with dedication. The need and wants of employees is not being satisfied by the company
because of ineffective communication. There is need of carrying the work in such a manner that
all the employees are able to understand the culture. The creates negative culture in the company

and the poor results are attained by the company. It is important for the business organisation to
have proper culture so that real success attained.
Analyse information on the identified problem, to help inform the decision-making process
There is need of taking effective decision so that best is provided to the employees. There
are regular changes in the environment but by taking care of the problems and their solution one
is able to attain success. The ineffective communication is enhancing the problems in the
business organisation and they are unable to carry on their work properly. The use of proper
decision making and enhancing the communication process in the organisation real success can
be attained (Yang and et.al., 2022). The use of effective decision making makes the company
effective and manage their work properly. The employees carry on the work in business
organisation and if they do not perform effectively. The reason that motivate to take appropriate
decisions are as follows:
The employees are not able to carry on their roles and responsibilities. They are not able to
manage the work and their overall performance is reduced. The right will enhance the dedication
level of the employees. There is need of carrying the work in such a manner that the employees
are satisfied and able to carry on the work assigned to them. The use of effective information and
data related to the problem is important take right decision. It is analysed that the identified
problems of ineffective communication make the employees dissatisfied and reduce their
production. They are not able to interact with others and there are bad employee relations in the
company. It becomes necessary to achieve success by doing the work in such a manner that real
progress is attained. There no employee’s relations seen in the organisation and this reduces the
brand image of company in market. There is need of taking such decisions that will enhance the
image of business and will make the company successful. The use of all the decisions will make
the company and their employees successful.
Propose a range of alternative solutions to the problem
After carrying the research and understanding the problem, there is need of analysing the
alternative options. The options will be beneficial for the business and to motivate the
employees. The business organisation required certain modifications that will enhance
communication in the business. They are as follows:
Regular meeting: The business organisation must have regular meetings that will enhance
the communication in the organisation. There is need of telling them about their roles and

responsibilities so that they are able to carry on the work that is assigned to them. It becomes
necessary to arrange both formal and informal meetings for the employees so that they are able
to develop relations with the employees (Goel, 2018). This help them to know each other and
take help at the time of requirement.
Employee engagement activities: There is need of carrying employ engagement activities
so that the employees are able to interact with each other and carry on the work assigned to them.
These can be in the form of games and other learning activities that are helpful for the
employees. The use of right techniques will make the business successful.
Take regular feedback: This practice will help the employees to interact with the leaders and
other seniors in order to give feedback. This si necessary for the company and their success.

Ineffective communication is main problem which impact on the UK business at the time
of Covid-19. An effective plan can be shown which is able to secure workplace activities and all
the work will be done in effective manner (Hallo, and Nguyen, 2021). In order to improve the
problem of ineffective communication and retain the employees for longer time, the UK business
needs to take the following steps:
 The companies in UK must set appropriate timing and culture of conducting regular
meetings. It will gather all the staff and make them informed about the changes, activities
and plans. It will create a fair and clear guidance and there will be no communication
barriers.
 The leaders and managers of the business must analyse the issues of employees by
communicating with them. They need to use social media platforms, online applications
to interact with them. It shows that the communication plays crucial role in resolving
problem of job dissatisfaction.
 The managers of company must eliminate the barriers of communication such as free
form of communication. They must set a line and hierarchy through which each
employee know whom to communicate and for which matter. Also, to attract and retain
employee, it is become crucial to create regular group activities and conferences for
taking their ideas and opinions. It makes them valued and asked.
Communicate the plan to stakeholders
Stakeholders plays a crucial role in every business who have their much influence in
decision, functions and activities of company. These are the people who stuck and retain with the
company in every ups and down. It shows that, the company needs to identify the plans for
stakeholders that will impact on the key issues (Lassoued, Awad, and Guirat, 2020). These

stakeholders will help in diving better decisions and makes an appropriate guidance to plan the
crucial objectives. This plan will be helpful in communicating the necessary strategies for taking
best effective measures. It is regarded that, the ineffective communication problem can be solve
through policies and plans. The organisation need to plan the strategies by evaluating different
modes of channels and platforms to secure growth and development of business and keep the
stakeholders retain for longer time. All the plans for giving remote working, hiring new
employees and guiding them while working from home must be done in proper way. The
stakeholders will be happy with the decisions so they will invest in the growth targets of
company. For that instance, the company must take review meting and participate them into the
workplace environment. There is requirement of key activities which could only be done by
stakeholders such as forming plans and investing for new technology and up gradation.

Monitor work performance: by checking on employees performance, It will be easy to
find out the impact of great communication on working of employees. Therefore, it shows that,
how employees will work more activities and dedicatedly when they have proper guidance and
clear instructions.

The report has concluded that the business in UK are facing great problems of employee
job dis satisfaction. It is because of ineffective communication which impact on the performance
of employees. This shows that, the company needs to analyse the need of employees and take

best decision which are in their favour. This could be done through taking decision and
implement it with stakeholders assistance. Also monitoring and controlling is necessary by
observing the changes and performance.
