INTRODUCTION
Product and service development is important for the firm in order to achieve the market
segmentation and customer satisfaction effectively. The report will cover the process involved in
developing a product and service and theorise in its application at Yankee Aromatic Candles.
The life cycle stage of product and service is also assessed with appropriate management of
product line in this report. New product development process and design and pitch for the
product into account of market testing and product launching will be discussed in this report.
Finally, the report will complete a reflective statement which critically reflect on team working
and presentation as well as creative development.
P1 Process in development of products and service level of consumer integration.
There are certain processes that are to be followed by successful leaders and management
for increasing the productivity of new product development. With the involvement of eight steps
and making innovations in the product, development of new products is done that is discussed in
this report.
Generating: Process of development of new product can be known with the help of
SWOT analysis, present marketing trends, kinds of existing competition in market that
enable the organisation to generate new ideas and exhibit accordingly.
Screening the idea: The modifications and implementations have to be taken into
consideration for the second process which is screening the idea. In addition to meet the
expectations of consumers with nuances that are made for benefits of consumers and
organisation with enhancing in productivity (Tukker and Tischner 2017).
Testing the concept: The management has to test and verify the concept to attain
knowledge of positive and negative results that are going to be received Also, it is the
important part of every organisation as it helps in knowing about the future of products
with specific needs and modifications.
Business analytics: Next stage involves measuring the value of products that are
launched that is mentioned in report. The figures are taken into concern with the help of
valuable feedback. This feedback and suggestions help the leaders to get well known
