INTRODUCTION
Organization taken in this is National Trust which is a non-profit
organisation. This company was founded by Octavia Hill, Sir
Robert Hunter and Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley in the year 1895. It
is a company which focus more on national heritage and open
spaces in order to protect them from everyone to enjoy. This poster
is going to explain factors which help in self-management which
leads to enhancement in lifelong development of capabilities.
Bullying and harassment at work place
Bullying can be described as a situation when an individual having
more power intentionally & repeatedly trying to harm or hurt
others. Bullying can be categorized in various sections such as
verbal, social and physical. However, physical bullying consist
spitting, tripping or pushing, taking or breaking someone's things,
making rude or mean hand gestures and hitting/kicking/pinching.
In addition to this, social bullying includes spreading rumours
about someone, embarrassing a person in public, telling other
people not to be someone's friend and leaving an individual out on
purpose. Moreover, verbal bullying involves name calling,
inappropriate sexual comments, taunting, threatening to cause harm
and teasing. It is essential to determine such as aspects by National
Trust to remove this threats effectively.
Conclusion
Hence it can be concluded that, personal and
professional development is beneficial for both
organisation and employees. There are various
approaches such as seminars and conferences,
social network and many more through which
organisation is able to understand employees
needs as well as workers will put more efforts
for accomplishing goals and objectives of
company.
Strategies to reduce bullying and harassment at
workplace:
It is necessary to establish strict & airtight rules and
policies at work place to reduce bullying and harassment.
Staff should remain fearless and immediately report to
the management if they feel or observe anything relevant
to harassment and bullying.
Management should immediate take decisions about such
incidents and respond as soon as possible to victim.
Employees can report to the management and if they
ignore it then they should complain about poor
management and harassment to higher authorities.
Provide learning to employers and managers to
determine bullying activities and analyse harassment for
taking correct actions.
Make poster to creating bullying and harassment free
zone at work place along with promoting productive and
respectful working relations in National Trust.
