 There has been a breech in the code of ethics as the security of the information of the
client have been at stake.

 The chances of the data getting lost in the process are also rampant.
 The actions which might be preceding the situation can involve the client withdrawing
their trust from the company

Actions  Perhaps the manhandling was not intentional on the part of Maureen, however it can
always be expected that the cases of manhandling of the information can take place.
 Maureen had been the victim of the circumstances and the tremendous workload from
the supervisors.
 There has been a callousness not the ‘crossing of line’ that can be experienced in this
situation.

 Here, there has been a conflict of the rights of the clients and the personal and
professional of Maureen involved in the case.
 The approach of Maureen can be considered as less problematic, as her action had
been carried out under tremendous pressure.
 The supervisor should have been more conscious while granting open access to the
employees upon the data.

Decision The strategies that need to be considered in the following case
 The working of the employees from the home needs to be kept under
track or management
 Mobile technologies can be implemented in order to track the handling of
the data in the case.
 Continuous contacts need to be maintained in terms of the progress of
the work
 Ethical values and the legislative aspect of the policies regarding to the
information of the clients need to be imparted to the clients.
 Intellectual property needs to be protected and this require the
implementation of several measures in this respect that also require the
development of the recognition of the employees whose behaviours are
unethical in certain ways or the others.
