Professional Identity is prestigious for an individual and it provides role holder with
the autonomy. It helps in providing a distinct position to an individual in the society.
Stewardship is indicative of an ethic that helps in managing the resources within an
organization. Professional identity along with stewardship are crucial elements in relation to
the healthcare sector.
Role as manager in Diagnostic Health Corporation
Mr. YYYY was interviewed and it was found that his responsibility revolved around
training the staff in the hospital. He was responsible for the operational duty in the hospital.
His responsibility revolved around maintaining the record of the budget that can help in the
proper functioning of Diagnostic Health Corporation. He was responsible for creation of the
work schedules for the providers in relation to healthcare.
Professionalism
In the words of Mr YYYY, professionalism was the indispensable element that helped
in creating a bond between medical profession and that of the society. Professionalism can be
established in the healthcare organizations on the basis of trust that can help in putting the
need of the patient above the other kinds of considerations. The professional responsibility
influences the work of Mr. YYYY and it can help in increasing the patient along with the
community trust within the healthcare organization. The expression of attributes like the
altruism and the dutifulness helps in the generation and the sustaining of trust in the patients.
The patients who have high trust in the physician seeks the healthcare in a timely manner that
can improve the health condition of the patient in an organization.
Stewardship
Mr. YYYY considered himself a steward in relation to the health care as he was able
to create the patient-centred communication that was able to reduce the power distance that

lied between physician and that of the patient. He was a steward on account of the fact that he
was able to bring about greater accountability in the employees of the healthcare
organization. It helped in the area of disclosure of that of the medical errors that helped in
meting out proper treatment to the patients of Diagnostic Health Corporation. He acted as the
successful steward as there was a reduction in rate of the new liability claims within the
Diagnostic Health Corporation. Mr. YYYY was able to look after the well-being of the
patients with the help of his abilities in relation to stewardship.
Professional advocacy and the authenticity
Mr YYYY felt that the leaders should exercise the professional advocacy along with
the authenticity that can help in influencing the work of the employees of the organization.
The ability of influencing the colleagues can have a positive effect on the overall
performance of the organization. The manager of Diagnostic Health Corporation being able
to affect the other colleagues can help in the developing of a social bond that can help in
fighting against the stress, fatigue along with the burnout within the healthcare organization.
The people who are more engaged can help in increasing the efficiency of the organization.
Comparing responses with peer
The leadership interview of Ms XXXXX focussed on the aspect of being
knowledgeable along with being punctual that can help in improving the quality of work in
an organization. On the other hand, Mr YYYY felt that altruism can pave the path for success
for the healthcare worker. Ms XXXX was of the opinion that being open-minded to that of
change can help in bringing about positive changes in the healthcare organization whereas Mr
YYYY felt that greater accountable can help in the growth of a healthcare organization. Ms
XXXX had the view that furthering the aspect of education can be of merit for an

the medical errors that can act to the benefit of a health care organization.
