Professional Identity is prestigious for an individual and it provides role holder with
the autonomy. It helps in providing a distinct position to an individual in the society.
Stewardship is indicative of an ethic that helps in managing the resources within an
organization. Professional identity along with stewardship are crucial elements in relation to
the healthcare sector.
Role as manager in Diagnostic Health Corporation
Mr. YYYY was interviewed and it was found that his responsibility revolved around
training the staff in the hospital. He was responsible for the operational duty in the hospital.
His responsibility revolved around maintaining the record of the budget that can help in the
proper functioning of Diagnostic Health Corporation. He was responsible for creation of the
work schedules for the providers in relation to healthcare.
Professionalism
In the words of Mr YYYY, professionalism was the indispensable element that helped
in creating a bond between medical profession and that of the society. Professionalism can be
established in the healthcare organizations on the basis of trust that can help in putting the
need of the patient above the other kinds of considerations. The professional responsibility
influences the work of Mr. YYYY and it can help in increasing the patient along with the
community trust within the healthcare organization. The expression of attributes like the
altruism and the dutifulness helps in the generation and the sustaining of trust in the patients.
The patients who have high trust in the physician seeks the healthcare in a timely manner that
can improve the health condition of the patient in an organization.
