INTRODUCTION
It is termed as the standard, belief, ability and the power that are commonly shared with others in
a professional team. The organisation consider in this report is Savoy hotel. It is a luxurious hotel
that are established in the year of 1889 (Maloney, and et.al., 2021). The following report covers
the job description for food and beverage manager and interview procedure between interviewee
and the interviewer for specific job role. And at last, strength and weaknesses of interview
procedure are involved in the report as effectively and efficiently.

JOB DESCRIPTION

INTERVIEW WRITING
Interviewee - “Good Evening, Ma'am.”
Interviewer - “Good Evening, please have a seat!”
Interviewee - “Thanks, Ma'am”
interviewer - “shall we start interview?”
Interviewee - “Definitely, ma'am!”
Interviewer - “okay Fine, according to your perspective what are those abilities and skills that
are needed for job role of food and beverage manager in the hospitality section.
Interviewee - “As per to my perspective, problem solving skills and decision making are an
essential abilities that are needed for job role of food and beverage manager. Moreover,
organisation and team building abilities might be controlled by the individual to execute the
task of food and beverage manager in the hospitality department.”
Interviewer - “Which suitable method of motivation for the individual in food department that
will you mention to apply for motivating candidates?”
Interviewee - “ It is an essential role of food and beverage manager to communicate and know
the orientation of staff members and determine their authoritative components and motivational
factors. As according to the reasoning, cognitive motivational formulation are an effective term
for examining the candidates orientation and encourage them accordingly.”
Interviewer - “How will you control the food department in the company ?”
Interviewee - “As a food and beverage manger in large size management I have various
obligation of supervising in right and analytical manner. Such methods also supports me to
measure the source of information and take suitable determination.
Interviewer - “Okay Fine, you may go. Thank you!”
Interviewee - “Thank you so much for your valued gesture for our organisation. I am hoping to
hear your response!”
Review key strengths and weaknesses of an applied interview process
The aforementioned interview procedure that are significant for the job role of the food and
beverage manager that are basically efficient and beneficial for an organisation (Rahimirad,
2021). As once the interview will get completed, it is essential for the HR section of Savoy hotel
organisation to present the evaluation process of the strength and weaknesses as per to the

interview procedure that are already mentioned above. The strength and weaknesses of the
aforementioned conducted interview procedure are as follows -
Strengths -
 Interview procedure is an essential section for dealings with the direct questions that are
required to be asked by the interviewer. It facilitate the management to get suitable
source of information in fewer time.
 As the interview procedure is face to face interview is conducted that allows the
interviewer to measure individual's aspects and offers scope to mention detailed questions
that are needed for certain job role (Sheehan, and Wilkinson, 2021).
 It is defined as fundamental strength of the interview procedure that the question that
were questioned in the interview process will provide them suitable field of direct
selection of an individual.
Weaknesses -
 The procedure of interview is time and cost consuming process that increase the
weakness of overall method that are to be conducted by the Savoy hotel management. As
there are synchronic questions that are asked by the interviewee and some other set up
that are needed for the recruitment procedure rather than tough and expensive process.
 Time management is a fundamental issue or the problem that are faced while the
procedure of interview and it will increase the manner of weakness (Tseligka, and Koik,
2021). As because the timing of the individuals and their arrangements of interview
procedure that are not pre-decided by the human resource section of the company.
CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned report it has been concluded that, professional identity and practices
are needed for the management to operate and functions in more effective way by which the
company can acquire definite term of targets and aims suitably. By selecting appropriate
individuals in particular job role, the business of management will conduct the interview
procedure. It also provide the services to the management to ascertain the suitable role of the
individuals who have the capability to perform their well defined functions with effectiveness
and efficiency.
