INTRODUCTIONIndividual and team development is essential activity and portion of organisationalsuccess. This can aid to development of organisations and its success. It is very important todevelop the skills and knowledge of the individual which will help the individual to work in theeffective way. This study is based on High town housing. It is the charitable institution. Reportwill analysis employees knowledge, skills and behaviour required by HR professionals. It willcreate personal skills audit and professional development plan to identify the appropriateknowledge, skills and behaviour. Further more assignment will analysis need of continueslearning and proportional development to drive sustainable business performance. It will alsodemonstrate HPW contributes to employees engagement and competitive advantages withinparticular situation of company. Also in this report it will evaluate different type of approacheswhich will help to work in the effective manner. SECTION 1 P1 Appropriate and professional knowledge, skills and behaviour that are required by HRprofessional. Critical thinking skills – The first and foremost skills that are required by the HR managercritical thinking skills in which the HR professionals need to balance complex situation and taketheir time to think with a combination, set-in -stone processes and outside the box thinking. It isvery important for the HR to think in a critical situation and it also helps to make effective andefficient decision. HR professionals need to strategically cultivate an environment in which allcan work together towards the improvement of the business (Buckingham and Goodall, 2015),Effective Communication- One of the primary role of HR job is to facilitating discussionbetween employees and the employers. If the human resource manager can not communicate inthe effective manner then they will not be successful manager. Both oral and written skills arerequired to effectively relay information. This skill will help to resolve the conflict between theemployees as in every workplace problem arise that need a diplomatic ear, an eye for assessmentso human resource manager by the help of these skills can solve every problem in theorganisation. Leadership – the third skill which required in HR is leadership quality. As human resourcemanager is the one who directs the employees in the right manner. And also he should influence1

the employees and motivate them to achieve the desirable goals and objective of theorganisation. Human resource manager should adopt the effective leadership style so thatorganisation run in the smooth manner. Leadership skills must be present in the human resourcemanager as it build a connection between the employer and the employees.Technical knowledge- Technical knowledge is required for the HR job as in the big organisationadvance technologies are being use. So it is important to have the proper knowledge about thetechnology so that it will help the Hr to use this in the effective manner. And also innovation isthe basic tool which helps the organisation to sustain for the long run. So human resourcemanager must be innovative and know to operate the technologies (Christopher, 2016).Ethical Approach – everyday HR manager must follow ethical challenges related to everythingfrom managing private employees' information to protecting the image of the organisation . It isvery important for the human resource manager to work in the ethical manner. As sometimehuman resource manager present the company. It is to role of the human resource manager toensure that the policies and practices are legal compliance and also human resource manger hasproper knowledge about the legal practices so that it will help the organisation to run in theeffective manner. This approach is very important in the organisation as all the legal matter aredeal by human resource manager . Time Management- if the human resource manager are more organise then it will be higherchances to stay in the company. It is important to manage the work on time and also motivatesthe employees or directs them to work according to time. These skills are very important in thehuman resource manager for organising and managing work properly. Decision making – the last skill is decision making power. The HR manager must have theability to take decision in favour of the organisation and it involves the employees so that it willhelp to gather innovative ideas and helps to take improve decision in the organisational (VanDooren, Bouckaert and Halligan, 2015).P2 Skill audit IntroductionThis task will include skill audit with the help of the professional development plan.
