INTRODUCTIONTerm professional practice refers to work of an individual in his/her specific occupation.In modern era, it has been located that every single staff member of an organisation do requirestraining and development sessions from time to time. Grooming events can help an employee inbetter learning which may directly put positive impact on their skills and knowledge and thesecan be delivered through management so that future common goals can be attained in desiredtime frame. United Kingdom's firm that has been chosen under this report i.e. Better Placed Ltd.which is a recruitment agency and whose headquarter is in Manchester City. Components whichare being included in this assignment are: various communication styles, time management plan,various problem solving strategies, importance of team and lastly assessment will put light onimportance of CPD and a personal development plan. All these constituent will help in achievingreport's objectives (Danielson, 2011).PART 1P1. Different communication styles and formats and its effective designIn today's world, business entities uses ample number of communicational style in orderto convey information to employees, consumers and to seniors. Every single communicationstyle carries some advantages and disadvantages which totally depends on the message if it isgetting delivered or being received. In context to Better Placed Ltd, management is lookingforward to preparing a two day training event in order to enhance skills and knowledge ofemployees (Ivers and et. al., 2012). Here, administration can use many communicating wayslike, letters, meetings in seminars, emails, social media, online tools and so on. All of thesecommunicational styles are elaborated beneath:Letters and memos: This can be stated as one of traditional written approach which isbeing used by organisations over the years. It has been located that companies mostly uses lettersin order to deliver information from one business to other, to an individual, stakeholders and soon. In contextualised to training sessions or events, this sort of communicational style is lesseffective as it takes time as first information is going to be placed in a letter and then it will getreach to another person which is a time taking process (Danielson, 2011).Meetings: This sort of communicational style can be considered as an approach whereinformation is being forwarded or received through face to face. Suggestions are also be given or taken under these sessions if any issueshas been found (Ivers and et. al., 2012).Email: It is an electronic type of communication which is being done in a written format.In this era, most of firms that are present in the world uses this sort of appearance in order toexchange any written document or information because of digitalisation. This sort of style ishelpful for organisations who are doing business from more than one country or have manyoffices within a state. Training event will be less effective if a manager will choose thiscommunicating style but its benefit is that information is being given stay authenticated andexact (Flodgren and et. al., 2011).Online Chats: Skype, Whatsapp, SnapChat, Instagram and other formal online chattingapplications are some major featuring sites that are being used by companies in order toexchanges data or information. Along with this, also has its own advantages and disadvantageswhich can make or break relation in between employer and employees. Here, Better Placed Ltd'smanagement is conducting a training event where this sort of communicational style may notwork in effective manner (Reeves and et. al., 2013).Henceforth, Better Placed Ltd. can use meeting communicating style as this sort oftechnique is much effective in nature and management can give appropriate training toemployees of this company.
