Introduction
Reflection can be described as a practice whereby students describe their learning
outcomes, how its gets evolved in relation to develop future experiences in a
strategic manner (Mondragon, Saez and Berciano, 2021). It allows learners to look
back in their experiences and create new knowledge effectively. This project report
is based on reflective practice which are undertaken by students for assessing their
strengths and weaknesses through learning logs as well as personal development
plan in an effective manner. It also comprises of areas of development as well as
identifying steps for improve my learning.
Key insights into learning on the module
This module has helped me to develop as a successful student by enhancing my
varied skills. I gain understanding about how important is CV is for me to present
me as effective in front of employer. This will help me in enhancing my LinkedIn
profile. I get to know my interview and non-verbal skills. Interview skills are the
actions which allows an individual to be more efficient during the interview process
in regards with new position (Buckle and Et. Al., 2018).
I realised that STAR approach which help me to understand situation, task, action
and result. I gain insights that my habit of preparing notes aid me in learning as
well as develop knowledge about the subject. I also repeat my lessons which
enhance my long-term memory. During one of the lecture at this module, I have
realised that every students is different and poses different set of skills. I also get
assistance about personal development and how it enhances my strengths as well
as skills in an effective manner. This module has developed my communication
skills which will help me to develop my career in a strategic manner. I also joined
course for enhancing communication on LinkedIn.
I also got understanding about the values and its important in everyone's life for
gaining ethics as well as good morals in a strategic manner. Values are considered
as most important aspect in enhancing one's personality (Ball, 2021). I also gain

key insights regarding career planning process which help me to assess my current
position and my future goals in an effective manner. Tailoring CV is a tough but
interesting job for me which help me to realise its importance for me.
My strengths
My strengths are that I am hard working and flexible which help me to develop in a
professional manner. This strengths are discovered by me while attending module
of professional practice- learning through reflection. My flexible nature made me
adaptable to varied situations and environment which I will found in my
employability in later years. I am hard working too which led me to learn things
quickly as well as make me efficient in a significant manner. Due to my flexible
nature, I can learn how to do networking with people in a little time which will help
me to enhance my employability skills lately. It is imperative for individuals to adopt
flexible nature in their approach for getting adaptable to any sort of business
environment in an effective manner (Kariippanon and Et. Al., 2019).
My areas of development
My areas of development comprise of honing my interview skills. I am willing to feel
less anxious as well as more self-assured in order to respond the interviewer in a
proper manner. I like to develop my note-taking as well as prioritisation skills
through using priority matrix in an effective manner. I like to develop these areas as
it helps me in grooming my personality while remaining at a job in a strategic
manner. Prioritisation skills will be developed by me through managing time by
making proper schedules. I am looking to prioritise my professional development in
an effective manner for gaining employability. Note-taking skills are considered as
important for learners as it help to keeping backup regarding their personal
development capabilities in an effective manner (Grant, 2022).

Conclusion (including next steps to improve learning)
Reflection is a practice whereby learning experiences is recorded by learners in a
strategic manner for analysing their experiences. It concludes strengths,
weaknesses as well as areas of development of learners which help them to
ascertain their experience. I want to improve my interview skills through giving mock
interviews. For enhancing this interview skills, I have to be good observant as well
as develop my active listening skills. Apart from this, I have to focus on me for
developing my personality in an effective manner. By improving interview skills, I can
excel my performance while seeking job after completing this module. This
development activity will be fulfilled by me through developing SMART objectives in
an effective manner.
