The session I found most interesting was on the importance of digital marketing because it assists to connect company or business with the customers in an effective and efficient manner through the social media platform such as Instagram, Facebook, Email etc. The session described the significance of digital marketing during the Covid-19 pandemic i.e. cost-effective, edge over the competitors, enhancing consumer engagement, increase credibility and better relation of employees with the customers. An objective of the session was informative, interactive, comfortable, clear and friendly. The one thing I learnt from this training was the vast field of digital marketing. It includes various kinds and is not limited to social media. Content marketing, display advertising, email marketing, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, search engine marketing and mobile marketing are the different types of digital marketing in which I can pursue my career for personal growth and development. The top advantage of digital marketing are it has a global reach, easy to learn, various strategies, lower cost through social media platforms and multiple content types. The one thing which I am not sure about is the tactics of digital marketing which need to be executed that are useful for data management and marketing technology. Due to this numerous marketers are planned to work on website optimization so to improve the consumer digital experience. I have learnt more if the time allotted for training was more as considering the digital marketing topic which was relatively broad in the current time. The duration for interaction was also not sufficient and the participation from the participants was comparatively low. There was a point when the material was gone out of the context and the knowledge was not relevant to the topic of the given session. I think if they tried to teach us more I would have definitely learnt more. There are various things I want to pursue are: firstly, I would start looking for the digital marketing job opportunity in one of the leading company of UK. For continuing the first step I need to create detailed CV which would include all the essential requirements for the particular job profile. I would also enrol for the certification course which will build up my skills and knowledge that further assist me in the particular field. Secondly, I will start my own digital marketing blog to create a personal brand after office hours which will help the recruiters to know my content writing skills. Thirdly, I will work on my weaknesses by adapting time management skills which could be learned by following easy steps to manage day-to-day tasks.I will need to learn to say no at the workplace which would indirectly help me to manage time by saving. Fourthly, after pursuing the learning skills of digital marketing, I will start my YouTube channel and should start trading my knowledge online. It will add-on as a freelancing money.
