The report will reflect my experience in Master of Business Information systems (MBIS).
This reflection will outline the valuable impact towards learning and gaining knowledge related
to information system and technology. This report will reflect how development of such sills and
knowledge can be helpful in career prospects in the field of information technology and
information system. This reflection outlines the achievements, learning, development and
experience which has been gained during the completion of MBIS course (Baldwin, M.
(2016)). This report will highlight my achievements, learning and experiences which have been
gained and self-developed with the help of self-audit which is used top determined the level of
understanding of the skills and knowledge in comparison to ICT skill set. The knowledge of ICT
skill set for a professional such as Business Analyst will be compared to standard and
benchmarks which are defined by authorities.
The report will address skill audit which will be helpful in determining the strengths and
shortcomings through which goals can be accomplished. The skill audit will be helpful in
determining and comparing the skills as per the planned standards through which further

Strongest skills
By pursuing Master’s in business information system, it supported me to develop my
skills and enhance my knowledge of information technology infrastructure and user interface
user experience design. Initially I was not aware about the approaches for using software and
hardware and this course has been the medium to gain knowledge enhance skills and
competencies. As a project relies on skill development in context of user experience view this
course supported me in improving my skills as per the requirements (Timor-Shlevin, S and
et.al (2021)). I focused on gathering knowledge through various mediums which supported in
successful execution of task for development of system and these mediums were helpful in
development of system dealing with software and hardware with the objective of meeting the
performance standards and requirements of the project. During the project I was able to learn
about different approaches of refining designs of system on the basis of client demand and
determining feedback and gain knowledge regarding different approaches of communication of
user centred designs which can be implemented to meet these responsibilities and
requirements.
Weak skills
With the help of skill audit, it can be seen that programming development of system
software are some of the scales weighted as shortcomings and requires more improvement.
Programming and development of system software requires high level of experience these skills
are more technical and must be enhanced which will support in dealing with issues in practical
terms. With the help of enrolling in some courses and getting certificate will be and helpful
approach for focusing on these areas and making separate time for practicing search skills
which needs to be enhanced as it will improve the capability of dealing with all requirements in
my professional domain . During the scores it was highly complicated to make time for this
subject which requires special attention as in trimester pattern there are the subjects which
needs to be focused and due to highly technical subjects, programming and development of
system software acted as my weakness.
