Introduction:
This paper describes with the portfolio of own management and leadership skills of
researcher. This paper describes different models of leaders and also set better personal
development plan to increase effective management and leadership skills. This paper also
shows different soft skills that is effective to make better progress of personal and
professional competency. there are diffrent non-digital and digital skills also shows where
researcher chosen social media and content marketing as the digital skills and listening, focus
and increasing confidence level are the non-digital skills that discussed in this paper.
Soft skills for personal and professional
development:
Soft skills describes as the personal attributes that makes better linkage between work and
also make solid interaction to others that is key for both personal and professional success.
There are different soft skills that need to evaluate by an individual to set better progress so
their personal and professional life.
Written and verbal communication is treating as Soft skills that is more impotence for both
personal and professional life. To make face to face communication, video calls, phone calls,
email communication are key to make better progress of professional and personal life. It is
important to make better listening, increase confidence level in communication, open-
mindedness, empathy, emotional intelligence, constructive feedback etc. are playing key
characteristics of effective communication. In personal life it helsp to make better networking
by adapting effective communication skills. On the other hand, communication is most key
skills that helsp to make better relation with team mates and also keep attached with the
management level. It helsp to make effective conflict management.
Teamwork is another key soft skills that individuals need to grow that helsp to make effective
conflict management in the work-in time. It also make the workplace more attractive, make
strong relation between teamwork’s. Management should have strong team working skills to
collaborate with all the team members, should provide right direction to the team members,
share the common goal and implement the plan too. There are some specific characteristics
that individual need to grow like collaboairotn, coordination, empathy, listening,
interpersonal skills etc. in the personal life, team working helps to make collaborative
decision and sought out any conflict issues (Cross, 2014).
Adaptability is another effective structure that the individual need to increase where
individuals need to use calmness, decision making, discipline, flexibility these makes
effective strategic development of each individuals that helsp to ensure further strategic
growth. It is also important to increase problem-solving skills that helsp to make better
strategic development of making better analysis, creativity, initiative, decision making
strategies. Problem solving strategy that helps to make better solution of different raising
issues in the business. It also helsp to make better strategic decision to solve problem and
reach further progress of the business (Butler, 2012)
It is also important to make better strategic leadership that skills also need to increase by
individuals (Marks, 2000). It helsp to makes better decision making and also ensuring better
