INTRODUCTION Personal and professional development is very essential in developing abilities and skills which are very essential for the sustaining in the company (Faucher, 2011). Development in personal and professional areas are helpful to overcoming barriers which occur on the path of achieving goals and objectives. In addition to this, it is also helps in setting up objectives, goals and strategies which helps in improving knowledge and skills for better performance (Dent and Whitehead, 2013). Professional and personal development is only possible when individual identify the areas in which improvement is required. Further, it is also helpful in know the skills which will be required in order to improve the performance of work. Following ppt covers the areas in personal and professional development is required. Moreover, it also covers the Gibbs reflective cycle which would help in knowing the once own learning and understanding and experience.

Model for reflective theory Gibbs reflective cycle was developed in 1988. In reflection processes there are six stages involved (Reflective learning, 2016). According to this cycle, situation has to be reflected by me, which took place as working as a psychiatrist of mental patients. Gibbs reflective will be helpful in doing so. It would be helpful in improving my practices as a psychiatrist. .
CONCLUSION From this ppt, it can be articulated that as a psychiatrist it is very essential to possess skills like understanding, decision making, team work, stress management, time management, etc. These skills should be improved so that mental patients could be treated more effectively. Further, Gibbs reflective model was very helpful in explaining the situations easily and in identifying the areas in which I lack. This type of situation which I faced was helpful in developing my understanding. Thus, it can be concluded that in any king of job skills are very helpful in performing the given job effectively and efficiently.
