Personal and professional development is very essential in developing
abilities and skills which are very essential for the sustaining in the
company (Faucher, 2011). Development in personal and professional
areas are helpful to overcoming barriers which occur on the path of
achieving goals and objectives. In addition to this, it is also helps in
setting up objectives, goals and strategies which helps in improving
knowledge and skills for better performance (Dent and Whitehead, 2013).
Professional and personal development is only possible when individual
identify the areas in which improvement is required. Further, it is also
helpful in know the skills which will be required in order to improve the
