Introduction
A business student has to be more skilled and professional in his study life. Study life is
career preparation. Professional and study skills are much needed in future career life.
So, student life is the best time for taking preparation. To be a skilled person is not so
easy. It is a lifelong process. But a student should focus on it in student life to do a
better career. My goal is to be a good business researcher. According to John
Whitmore, to be a good business researcher a student should be skilled in time
management, teamwork, learning, leadership management, presentation,
communication and so on. I have to be skilled in these sectors to be a good business
researcher. I want to be a business researcher because in this sector I can learn more
about business problems and solutions, learn more about companies and business
organizations. I can innovate many new ideas for the welfare of the business sector. But
to be a good business researcher I have to be skilled in different sectors. It is a lifelong
process. But I have to focus on it more in the student life. After that, I can make a
successful career in business research. To be a good researcher I have to be skilled in
presentation, time management, teamwork, leadership management, communication,
learning skill and so on. I have learnt many of these in the last coaching session last
week. But it is an ongoing process (French et al., 2020).

to be a good business researcher I have to be skilled in different sectors. It is a lifelong

presentation, time management, teamwork, leadership management, communication,

communication and presentation. He needs to have a good learning capacity. He or she
should be more innovative. Because there are many problems and case studies in
business research. So he or she has to be more innovative. He or she needs to think
well. So he or she must have a well-thinking capacity. According to John Whitmore, he
needs to think properly and he can solve any business problems. If a can student
achieves these skills he or she can touch his or her goal very easily. But he or she

There are many methods of skill acquisition. The skills are good communication,

and so on. There are many methods to achieve them. But I think I can achieve them by
doing specific courses on the skills. In the courses, there are many practice sessions,
case studies, teamwork, problem-solving session etc. In these sessions, I can practise
these skills more. My communication skill, presentation skills, leadership management
skills will increase while doing teamwork. Practice sessions will increase my
presentation skills. While doing practise sessions I will learn to work time efficiently. I
can be more innovative in the practice sessions. So, doing courses is the best way for
me to acquire the skills such as communication, presentation, leadership management,
time management, teamwork etc (Ribner et al., 2017).
Importance of Life Long Learning
Acquiring different skills is a lifelong process. If a student does some courses on
specific skills such as communication skills, presentation skills, leadership
management, time management, teamwork etc he will become skilled in these sectors.

My current attainment is much good. Day by day I am becoming a skilled person and
increasing the possibility to reach my goal. I am now good at presentations. I can
present something very well. I can communicate with other people and team members
in a fine way. They understand my language and what I am saying. I am also doing
good in teamwork. I can follow my leader's advice. But I have to do better in leadership
management. My leadership management is not so good. I should more work on time
management also. I cannot work efficiently. I have to learn to work more efficiently
(French et al., 2020).
Conclusion
Making oneself skilled in various sectors is a lifelong process. But I have done many
practice sessions to be skilled in presentation, communication, leadership management,
time management and so on. If I can be skilled in these sectors I can reach my goals. I
am good at teamwork, communication skill, presentation but I am not doing well at
leadership management and time management. I have to be more efficient in time
management. I have to be more skilled in leadership management. If I can be skilled in
leadership management and time management I will reach my goal soon. So my
weakness in time management and leadership management make a burden in reaching
the goal (Ribner et al., 2017).
