INTRODUCTION
Climate change may refer to the significant changing in the different measurement,
lasting for an extended period. In another way, it can be said that climate change occurs in
precipitation, temperature and wind pattern. These are directly effects on the human health
condition. The report will discuss about the cause of climate change and how it will affect on the
human in large population in Australia. Many professionals will be following the systematic
technique to reduce the climate change effects on human. Furthermore, it will be identifying the
different issues that occurs due to climate change within global environment. However, it also
evaluating an effective strategies, policies that supports to control the climate change effects.
MAIN BODY
Determine the key issues due to climate change
Climate change, together with both natural as well as human made health which always
influencing the health condition of people (Tsai & et.al., 2020). It has considered the existing
health threats, which intensify to emerge with new one. According to the report, Climate change
effects of human which automatically increased the cardiovascular diseases, premature death,
and mental health, Asthma (Meng & et.al., 2018). Furthermore, there are different reasons of
health illness due to climate change, air pollution has increased the exposure to high temperature
which lead to high rate of heat illness such as heatstroke, dehydration and other heat exhaustion.
These are affecting the large number of population in Australia.
Furthermore, the change in prevalence and other geographical distribution of water-borne
illness which directly affecting on the mental health condition. According to report, it has found
that 4 to 5% people faced such type of diseases because of climate change. In order to increase
the heatstroke among both female and male in Australia.

LITERATURE REVIEW
Theme:1 concept of climate change
Khalaf, R. W. (2020). Climate change is based on the threat which mainly occurred in
both naturally or human-made. It has completely change the pollution rate due to greenhouse
gases. It directly increases the temperature of environment in day by day. In between 2030 to
2050, many professional as expected to cause approximately 250,000 additional death per year in
Australia
Theme: 2 negative impact of climate change on human health condition
Coates & et.al., (2020) climate change effects on the both environment and social
determinants of health in context of clean air, safe drinking and other secure shelter. Nowadays,
it has identified the spread the diseases due to climate change such as heat stress, malaria,
malnutrition and diarrhea. Over last 50 years, Human performed the different activities, in
particularly the burning of fossil fuels. In this way, they have released the sufficient quantities of
carbon dioxide and other type of greenhouse gases so that they will increased the heat
temperature of atmosphere. In order to affect the global climate.
Theme 3 Ways in which negative impact of climatic change upon health can be reduced
According to the view of Dafermos, Nikolaidi & Galanis, (2018) There are various ways
that can be used in order to reduce negative impact of climatic change upon health of human
beings. Government can focus restricting usage of personal vehicles and can focus upon
promoting local buses or train. This will help in reducing CO2 level which will help in reducing
air pollution so that likeliness of diseases like asthma can be reduced. Yoga and meditation
centers can also be opened so that both physical and mental health of people can be enhanced
this will help in reducing adverse effect of climatic change upon health
Theme 4 Impact of climatic change in Australia and initiatives taken by government to reduce it
adverse impact on health
Tsai & et.al., (2020). In Australia, climate change is one of most common issue because it
is the world’s largest exporters of iron, coal and natural gas. Although global warning may
increase the issue such as deaths in temperate climate. The extreme high temperature contribute
directly to death from chronic diseases such as cardiovascular, heatstroke, mental illness. In this
way, Australian government initiative for developing the program or event that supports for
controlling the exposure of pollution, adaption of new strategies (Tsai & et.al., 2020). Therefore,

they always tried to decline the significant in health due to climate change. In order to maintain
the sustainability in global world. Furthermore, it has designing self-awareness program for
Australian population, each and every one participate for controlling the human made pollution.
No one can immediately dispute the climate change on the basis of medium and long
term risks. In this way, Government has recognized the certain issues and try to eliminate by
using strategies, event programs.
Objective of study
It should be considered the suitable objective, which help for resolving the climate
change issue and their effects on the human health.
To identify the major diseases due to climate change.
To evaluate the different climate change risk that associated with intervention and
prevention.
To implement the effective strategies program and self-awareness among the Australian
citizen.
Conducting the appropriate assessment
In above discussion, it has been justified the various activities that performed by
government. In order to provide the better self-awareness program whereas people can self-
examine the health illness due to climate change (Boulanger & et.al., 2018). In Australia, there
are large population, which are majorly faced the issues of different diseases because of climate
change. In this way, it can examine the specific need or requirement and then tried to reduce the
climate change and effects on health.
Rapid appraisal
The most important part of this assignment is to gather information about climate change
and its impact upon health of people. There are various kinds of ways with the help of which
information can be gathered, some of them are:
Interviews: Interviews is one of the most common method of information collection in
which all the participates can be directly asked questions in order to gain required data. Interview
with respondents can be conducted on mobile, face to face, telephone, online and by many other
sources (Paradis & et. al., 2016). With the help of this tool information related to the manner in
which Australian climatic change impact overall health of individual. Interview of local people
can help in collecting information about ways in which climate impact health.

Survey: It is one of the most commonly used primary data collection method in which
survey is conducted in which participates are asked to fill a questionnaire with both open and
closed needed questions. Survey is mostly conducted in order to collect all the important and
basic information related to a project (Cleland, van, Veldhuisen & Ponikowski, 2019). With the
help of survey knowledge about participants of the project their point of view can also be
calculated. Survey is conducted when participants cannot give sufficient time for providing
information and as per their convenience they can provide with required information. One of the
main benefits of survey is that it can be conducted with the help of emails and other sources
where there is no necessity of both the parties to be available online. In this survey can be
conducted upon both local people in order to understand what the main causes that result in
climatic change and how it can effect on health of people.
Observation: In this primary information is collection by gathering information about
research phenomena by making various kinds of observations. This method is least used for
primary data collection. It is mostly used where there is requirement of observing human
behaviour or human interaction.
Secondary data: It is another one of the most commonly used data collection method
which is used to collect data from already published information (Ghauri, Grønhaug & Strange,
2020). This type of data can be collected from government websites, articles, newspapers and
from many other sources. It can be used to collection information about climatic change and its
impact upon health. Secondary data can easily help in understanding ways in which climatic
change can impact overall health of an individual both positively and negatively.
Group discussion: it is a kind of method which is also used for primary data collection in
which opinion of local people can be collected about different ways in which climatic change
can impact their overall health (Haines & Ebi, 2019).
All of these methods can be used for need assessment analysis of impact of climatic change upon
health of people. Out of all of these approaches, secondary data collection approach is most
commonly used for literature review so that final version can be achieved in a proper manner.
SWOT analysis
Strengths:
As English is a commonly used language, so it was much easier to communicate and
understand impact of change in climate and its impact upon health of people.

Self- assessment program identified can help in enhancing overall quality of life of people.
Weaknesses: point of view about climatic change impact on people’s health can vary from
person to person. It is a time- consuming process.
Opportunities: Solution tree has provided ways in which negative impact of climatic change can
be reduced and quality of life of people can be improved.
Threats: changing impact of climate change from person to person
Challenges
One of the main challenges in completion of this assignment was in collection of primary
information. Conducting survey or interview was a time- consuming process.
CONCLUSION
From above discussion, it has summarised about ways in which climatic changes can
impact health of an individual. It has been analysed that health issue because of climatic changes
faced by large number of populations. It has been analysed that by assessing needs of people,
analysing impact of climatic change upon health of people can help in development of proper
and appropriate programs, policies so that overall health of people can be improved.
