INTRODUCTION
E-Commerce is considered as a technique which is used by organisations to enhance their
market share. In order to expand Tesco's marketing e-commerce platform is used which will help
it to enhance its profitability by attracting large number of customers. There are four team
members in the team who are playing different roles in the teams (Galegher, Kraut and Egido,
2014). These are Team supervisor, Team leader, Finance and resource manager and web
developer. I have played the role of team supervisor and I was mainly responsible to organise all
the activities in systematic manner and track performance of the organisation. This essay covers
various topics such as project, self and team performance evaluation.
MAIN BODY
Project evaluation
A task regarding developing a website for Tesco was assigned to my class and tutor
formulated different groups of four individuals. In my team there were four members who played
different roles. I was the team supervisor and I was analysing work of all the other individuals
who were working within the team. Other role were team leader, web developer, finance and
resource manager. Main responsibility of mine is to assess that all the other group members are
working properly or not. I was also liable to manage the team performance so that the goals of us
could be accomplished.
While completing the task I performed various activities such as guiding all the team
mates to perform their jobs properly, resolving all their issues and providing support to them so
that they can work effectively. When we were working on the project one of my team member
who was playing the role of web developer was little bit confused because of different options
available for website designing. At this stage I supervised him and all the other team members
helped to decide a specific design which could be used by us for the website (Galegher, Kraut
and Egido, 2014).
I formulated various decisions so that I can contribute in the good performance of team. I
asked all the group members to meet daily after the classes so that we can discuss about the
project. In order to develop the website we require proper funding for which I also made
decisions regarding allocation of resources because it was my main responsibility to assign
budget to all the team members so that they can perform their tasks. In order to analyse the
