This portfolio showcases the learning journey of three children through their indoor and outdoor activities, and extension of learning. Each child has unique strengths, interests, and behaviours that are observed and discussed. The stories provide insights into their personalities and potential areas of growth. To: Joseph Drip
Welcome to the learning group
It is grateful to have you in our learning group and looking forward to see you in many more
activities. By together we will make up the great team and having working hard on the different
activities.
Introduction of the child 1
Joseph Drip is the infant and he is 3 years old child. He is very intelligent and creative
child and somehow have better learning from his early childhood only. He used to lives in
Australia and he loves to play different types of games. He is required to have development as he
is capable of learning the things fast. He has completed the EYLF outcome that is having the
strong sense of identity. This can be explained by stating the child has put all the things together
in order to make the proper things.

Story 1: Indoor Learning story
In this the indoor activity was taken is movement and he was doing the craft which shows that he
is very creative in his early childhood only. Joseph used to touch the brush from the top and was
making painting by using the water colours. This shows that he used to draw the line by making
the page up from between so the straight line can be drawn. By this I used to recognize that he
was very intelligent and creative towards his working.
Observation: From the above story it can be observed that the 3 year child can also make
the drawing by using the colours and brush. This shows that he can have better drawings in his
future by having the continuous practices. The behaviour of Joseph is so soft which makes him
so smart by his appearance as well (Reumerman, van Agtmael and Tichelaar, 2021). Somehow I
need to pay attention so that he can make the beautiful pictures and have better concentration on
their indoor learning.
Story 2: Outdoor Learning story
The outdoor learning experience in this is playing with water. This is the best thing that is done
by the Joseph in his early childhood. The Joseph used to water the plants which shows he is
trained for this by his parents. By this it can be observed that he is very talented boy and loves to

learn the different things in his childhood. As I asked him about the different plants and he was
answering very well by telling the names of each plant and flowers. This makes to know that he
is also having the best outdoor learning experience and also about the nature. He was also
playing in the garden which shows he is having interest in the playing as well. His strength was
that he shows interest in very field and also fulfils the EYLF outcomes (Al Mulhim, 2021). By
using the Kolb's learning theory stages the child can be improved and have the better learning in
his life.
Observation: From the above story it can be observed that he is having the better
knowledge about the things related to environment. He was also having the knowledge that how
to water the plants without wasting the water. The child have done the good thing which makes
him to learn the another things faster in his further future.
Further it shows that Joseph is also had an interest in playing and having better talks with
the families and friends. The Joseph is environment friendly and confident and involved in
learning the different things. By this it can also be said that the Joseph is doing well and having
the great experience.
Story 3: Learning story based on the extension of learning
To extend the learning I will set the paper painting experience which will enable for
Joseph to have continue experiencing by having painting with different types of colour. The
Joseph will be doing more painting by having mixing of the colours which makes him know
about the variety of colours that are present (Ntsiea, Mokokotlela and Barnard-Ashton, 2021). By
this it has also enhanced it knowledge and have better outcomes. By this the child has achieved
the great learning and having this shows he has attained the outcome of EYLF that is putting it
together.
Observation: This shows that the child is very encouraged in his indoor learning and
having the better interest to play with the colours. He is having good behaviour with the tutors
and with his family members as well. By having the kolb's learning cycle it can be said that the
Joseph must go through those steps as well that helps them to grow faster.
In order to get the additional support the child can be sent to the tuition classes in order to
have better learning of the things in his life (Chew, Sum and Sim, 2021). This will help them to
learn the things faster and have better growth in his personal life. By this it will help him to make
the painting and have strong learning in the particular thing.

Observation: altogether it can be observed that the child is having good skills with crafts. But it
should be taken as aptitude which is inbuilt. With sort of better actions it can be augmented. At
the same time, the child is having better interest with colours and paintings so it should be seen
as the mind of an artisan which must be having greater inclination to the subjects such as
humanities.
PORTFOLIO 2

To: Sinyo
This portfolio is the journey of the child learning that he has learned till now. This portfolio will
also make us know about the collaborative effort that the child has made in his or her learning.
By having such stories it will help to have better stories for the child in the future.
Introduction to Child 2
The child 2 is Sinyo and she is 6 year old. She is very passionate in her learning and this
thing help her a lot in her life. She is taking his learning in the school situated in Australia and
having the better knowledge about the different things. She looks so pretty which makes her to
loved her by everyone that is from teachers and from families as well (Han, Huang and Cui,
2022).

Story 1: Indoor Learning story
It was seen that the Sinyo was making video by using the mobile phone of her father. It
was very interesting to see since she is just 6 years old and doing so it not an easy task. While
being asked that what she was doing she said that she was recording the movements of her dog.
It shows that her behaviour is quite inclined to be highly emotional. She loves modern
technology. At the same time, her playing preferences show that she loves using technology. Her
interest consists modern tools so can get better experience. In this case by using modern
technology she can be given education. As the theory of constructivism believe that by imparting
constructive knowledge she may get educated (Yilmazer and Birant, 2021). EYLF outcomes
suggests that the child is prone to make bigger contribution to the world.
Observation: Form the story it can be observed that this child like modern tools. The used
mobile phone was not much simpler yet she was able to operate it. The kids who love using

technology are those who are having ability to see outside the box. They can be good at science
and technology which are based on these notions.
Story 2: Outdoor Learning story
This was found that Sinya was trying to make a device while playing outside in a park. She was
asked about her game so she responded that she was making a modern tool so can make a swing
for her. This shows that her behaviour is all about using new tools. She likes to play with
technological things and her strengths is to think about technology. In this case there is need to
drive additional support to her. Such as by giving her access of some tools and better guidance,
her knowledge in technology can be boosted up (Wang, et. al. 2019) This is planned that for this
kid the class environment must be kept technological, there should be proper use of mobile,
camera, computer etc. to teach her. EYLF outcomes shows that there is good connection to the
world.
Observation- It is observed that this ability of a child to use technology and having fantasy to
use tools and applications. In such cases it is inevitable responsibility of a teacher to ensure that
the child do not lose its interest in the class room activities and must learn the things in the way
how it suits to her.
Story 3: Learning story based on the extension of learning
To extend the learning outcomes the child was taken to a technology lab and was given
some best tools, she was utterly unaware of them but started looking at them and making some
contemplations. While being asked she responded enthusiastically. It shows that her behaviour
towards technology is quite salubrious. At the same time, her interest is to explore new things
and gives priority to play with gadgets. EYLF shows her better connectivity with people.
Observation: it suggests that her entire personality is all about exploration. In this case some
additional helps can be transmitted such as helping to create interest in science and technology.
Giving her chance to see new things so can make the same mindset for them (Pham and Chen,
2019)
Observation: As final observation it can be articulated that the characteristics taken out of the
all stories suggests that Sincy is definitely extraordinary child and having great ability to learn
new and technical things. But the fact can not be denied that there must be some additional
supports are needed so can drive the child to get more by putting the same efforts.

It is a great pleasure for us to have you at our learning group. We are quite enthusiastic to offer
best set of learning so can hike the educational outcomes. Hand on with us so can make a better
experience for you.
Introduction of the child 3
Jonathan trot is a 4 years old kid. He is quite talented boy and enthusiastic to do something out of
box. He is living with his parents who are in different civil service jobs. At the same time, he is
studying in play group for now. The boy is significantly good at his IQ and having great ability
to perform different tasks. But due to higher IQ his tendency of being rude, angry, disappointed
are also quite higher.

Story 1: Indoor learning story
In term of indoor learning story the boy was seen playing with some mechanical tools. It
was very interesting to see him doing so. Since the kids of such age group are less likely to do so.
He is having great skills with such notions. When he was asked about his game he did not reply
in clear manner. It shows that his behaviour is highly rude (Sumsion, 2019) At the same time,
his playing preferences gives attention to be remained alone and playing something new. He is
having good confidence which is his biggest strength. And interest lies in innovative notions.
Observation- form his entire performance or the story it would be fair to observe that for this
boy there is need to have affluent learning program. Since his learning skills are quite different,
he is not in situation to learn with stereo type learning pattern. As EYLF outcomes suggest that
the child is having strong sense of self identity.
Story 2: Outdoor Learning story
The boy was playing with excavation tools in his park. While being asked about his game
and what he was trying to do then with his strong gestures he replied and said that he was trying
to dig a big pit in the park. As EYLF outcomes show that the children are highly confident.
Irrespective of the fact he is doing. He is aware that how to deal with people and how to make

them impressed. In term of NQS it would be a fair judgement to pass that the boy is very much
higher with this regard. His innovative ideas are leading him to achieve bigger. His behaviour
shows that he is a good communicator, at the same time on the grounds of playing preference he
loves to play alone. He is having range of strengths such as high confidence, ability to convince
others etc (Patience, 2022)
Observation- It can be perceived form the above story is giving better alternatives. He is a fully
confident boy and likes to do something interesting, at the children are highly smart even at the
age of four. He is having good ability to learn no matter what others think. In this case, there is
need to pay attention on his work so can guide him to drive his efforts in right direction which
would make him thrive.
Story 3: Learning story based on the extension of learning
To extend the learning the student has been given some tools, and technological
instruments so how he plays with them. While doing so his safety and security notions were
contemplated. He responded them in the way he was intended. As he started seeing them with his
close observation power, then started asking me a lot of questions to quench his thrust. It shows
that in term of EYLF outcomes the child is good at connecting. He desired to develop something
for all so he thinks a lot about the world. These skills or interest leads him to be highly affluent
in his field. As Kolb's learning theory suggests that there are some steps which are to be taken
into consideration in order to hike the learning g outcomes of a child (Bakay and Ağbulut, 2021)
Observation: Form the story it was observed that the child has great ability to do something
beyond capacity of a normal child. It would be a fair notion that his EYLE outcomes are higher
and having good ability to be adjusted in outer world. If such a teaching system is developed
where with new tools, technology he is given education and suggested making them highly
productive then best learning outcomes can be ensured for the kid.
Observation: as the final observation suggests that the ability of Jonathan is great yet he is the
boy with higher self ego. He may get isolated if he is not groomed and taken care in appropriate
manner. He has been very much vintage in nature and having some aristocratic learning styles.
So as the theory of behaviourism suggests that in such cases the attention of a teacher must be
based on the behaviour of a child so can drive it to better direction.
