INTRODUCTION
The report aims to identify the key business problems which are faced by the firm in the current
dynamic environment. There are many problems which a business face such as competition
consumer trends and high level of operation to meet with the customer demands. The business
could only get successful by operating through quality and quantity. The company needs to
provide products as per the customer demand and necessity. this can be done through sales
forecasting and planning strategies for the growth and expansion. This report is going to work on
the case study of original creations (Demirci, 2019). The company mainly deals in lifestyle
products and they have a structure of bringing innovation in the market so often. The company
provide products through giving mail brochure which include all the categories of their product
range. Rainwear for dogs and cats, automatic air freshener, card kits, garden lights are some of
the successful products of the company. They mainly work for designing the products and plan
for further innovation and feature. The manufacturing takes place by different companies which
belongs to UK and other countries like China. The report is going to analyse the issue which
company face and reasons for their three unsuccessful months of getting failure in tenth product.
Also, the report will analyse various business options, its benefits and disadvantages, timescale
and cost for the growth and development.
PART 1
Reasons
The business is a pool of various uncertainties, risks and problems in the business practices.
it is necessary to look for the key issues and reason which are affecting the operations and
management of the business. There are many areas due to which the company fails to provide
better products and services. It does not get find in the initial stages but the overall outcome will
not be satisfactory. Therefore, the reason behind doing this project is to identify the issues which
is faced by the original creations (Turunen, and Töytäri, 2022). The main issues they are facing
is the problem of sales due to failure of many product innovations. Due to this, the company is
not able to make sales and achieves market position and brand name even bringing regular
innovations. Therefore, the company require consulting practices for many reasons and engage in
project to identify their problems. These reasons are described below:

Identify the issues for product failure: It is the main reason of doing project to identify the
main issues faced by the original creations. The original creations are to enhance the product
delivery and create a well product delivery in the market. The company will be able to analyse
the operational issues due to which they fail to bring effective innovation in the market. It is
requiring to find out the exact reasons of their product failure.
Conduct market research: The original creation needs to conduct effective market
research about the innovation in the products. The company needs to take assistance from the
marketers as well as from customers as well (Bouckaert, and Van den Heuvel, eds., 2019). They
will help in taking decisions about the products and services which will eliminate mistakes and
failure. The more company will work as per the trends, the more they will be able to attain great
position among customers. Unnecessary product innovation and development will not be
beneficial without its need in the market.
Bring changes: The consultancy practice and project deliveries is essential and one of the
main reason is to bring change in the company. The original creations highly believe in bringing
change in their products but they omitted to bring change in their operations as well. Therefore,
by planning and formulating strategies, all the activities will tend to flow in systematic manner.
It ensures positive changes in the company which will be beneficial for attaining profits and
business growth.
Provide objectivity: The most important reason behind taking consultancy practices is to
provide a clear path towards success. The original creation has lack of smooth targets and
objectives due to which they are not able to perform better. effective assistance and guidance will
help in setting long term objectives and smart gaols for the company. The targets of the company
need to be set properly as per their capabilities and potential.
Business options
The business original creation can implement various options in order to improve their
performance in the market. The main issues they face is the product failure due to many reasons.
These include frequent innovation without proper market research, inappropriate strategy for
analysing customer trends and low quality products (Rendtorff, 2020). These are the main
reasons due to which the original certain is getting continuous decline in their product range and
portfolio. The business can do something to enhance their operations and bring positive change

in the company. These options will be regarded by applying weighted score card model. Some of
the criteria for this model which provides options to the company:
Price: This is the crucial factor of every business to set an affordable price of their products
and services. Price is the key growth areas which will make the business competitive and helps
in attracting large customer base (Nathan, 2018). The original creation provides 30% weightage
to this factor as they are not facing pricing issues in their products. Due to their cost effective
practices, they charge reasonable prices by minimising unnecessary expenses and using local
materials.
Partnership with various manufacturers: This is the another option or criteria which
creates influence on the performance of company. As the original creations has partners with
many manufacturers who work for them. They could not control or monitor how they
manufacture the product which sacrifices the quality. Therefore, this factor has high weightage is
solving business problem of original creation. They need to get strict control over the operations
and product manufacturing is that, it does not get failure.
Work with sustainable partners: This is an important factor which is necessary to consider
y the business to achieve growth and success. There is requirement of sustainability operations in
the current business practices that should be taken care by the original creation. The company
frequently indulge in bringing innovation in products which may impact on environmental
condition and resources. It gets heavy weight-age in the score card so the original creation needs
to focus on this option. For instance, there is engagement of particular practices which needs to
be assure about the roles and responsibilities towards the society.
By analysing the three options available for the original creation to overcome with the
problems of product failure, the third option will be more feasible. As in today’s environment,
sustainable operations are more in demand (Faldetta, Mollona, and Pellegrini, 2022). People and
investors wants to look for building effective practices which will be accountable for the society,
community and the planet. Therefore, bringing regularity innovation will lead to use resources,
cost and wastage will be there. The original creations eliminate every product within 3 months
that creates a fluctuation in their portfolio. The company needs to make sustainability practices
by reducing excessive use of materials, resources, carbon emissions and focus on eco-friendly
packaging. The investors would like to invest in sustainable practices which will assure long
term growth in the market.

Expected benefits
By analysing the better options for the company which will give better value of the money.
The options which are identified are price, partnership with manufactures and work with
sustainable partners. There are a lot of benefits of the option which will help the original
creations in achieving growth and regain their position. The original creations need to create
better understanding about the product development (Bowden, and Boccalatte, 2020).
Sustainability will be beneficial to promote recycling and reusing packaging. Also, this is
beneficial for the betterment of company to attract investors. For instance, the company will use
highly effective materials to build their lifestyle products. Also, they should promote low carbon
emissions and through ensuring use of carbon criteria.
Expected dis benefits
There are many disadvantages which also has an impact on the company operations. The
original creation may get affect with their profitability by reducing innovations as this is their
unique factor. The company require huge investment to build new infrastructure for controlling
carbon emission, use solar panels and hire new staff and employees for ensuring quality of the
product. This will be the dis benefit for the company for initial years of their regaining but the
future will be secured. Some of negative impact may also cause on the organisation. This shows

The project will take up to 6 months in order to complete all the activities. These activities

Reflection
It is a vital practice for every individual to reflect upon own development and practices.
Self-reflections help in self-taught practices which makes an individual self-reliant. Reflective
writing will be beneficial for the success and growth of a person in future job role. It will
influence about the key factors that requires for improvement. Therefore, in order to identify own
personal strength and weakness. I have learned things during my class activity. The whole
reflection is described below:
Communication skill: It is the key skill for an individual in both professional and
academic development. Communication is importance to convey own thoughts and ideas to
others and make the information clear and understandable. This shows that, communication is
vital for me to effectively develop my leadership abilities. During my classroom activities, I took
part in debates and projects through which I have improved my communication practices by
being a leader. Therefore, in order to attract other students in the project, I have to make them
engage in project tasks (Nedykhalov, Zhukova, and Patukov, 2019). I effectively communicate
with them and provide guidance due to which, we were able to manage the projects on time.
Numeracy: There is requirement of the numeracy skill in order arrange the data and
statistics in effective manner. This skill is necessary to manage the data in excel and prepare
charts and graphs. I have learned this skill by getting projects for preparing budgets. I used to
have good mathematical knowledge due to which I am able to conduct data and put solve
practical problems. The other students faced issue in learning this skill due to not being indulged
in classroom activities. I have attended each and every session which has helped me in practising
my numeracy skills to calculate and put data as per the tasks requirement.
ICT skills: In today’s modern world, information technology is one of the required skill
to be known by every individual. Information and communication technology includes digital
learning, using PowerPoint, software and others. During my classroom activities I have learned
about many technological software which is helpful for business. These include resources like
PPT, mails and other software to carry out work. Hence, in my classroom activities, I have
assigned case study projects which has helped me in preparing presentations and posters.

Problem solving skills: It is the most important skill which will help me in analysing the
problems and provide best solution. This shows that, I somehow worked on this skill though
engaging in quizzes, challenges and other classroom tasks and activities (Wagner, 2020).
Therefore, it is necessary to carry out essential task and activities by finding appropriate
solutions for it. During group presentations and projects, I faced a lot of problems and there were
many confusion regarding project activities, I was not able to take decision and find solution
without teacher assistance. Therefore, it shows that, I need to improve this skill through
enhancing knowledge.
CONCLUSION
The report has concluded that a business requires strategic operations and identification of
problems. It will help in finding right knowledge and activities regarding the business failure.
This shows that there is need for better options to attract investors and presenters. Also, the
report has provided own personal reflection about some of improvement skill for employability.
It has learned through performing classroom activities and projects.
