INTRODUCTION Business unit hold several functions and activities within organisation in order to attain its predetermined goal or objective(Vedel, 2016). The present repost is based on Tesco organisation in order to understand the meaning and importance of all function that a business unit consist. It is a multinational grocery retail company of UK that was founded by Jack Cohen in year 1934. In this report, discussion about interrelation of each department is carried out with their importance and meaning. MAIN BODY Analyse different types of business function with importance as well as demonstrate their link with each other. Everything that company holds for operating their business in order to earn profit for growth and development is considers as business function within company(Boyce and Ville, 2017). It includes finance, marketing, human resources and operation department. The function of this department is to manage all cash inflows and outflows within company. The managers of finance department of Tesco company is responsible for acquiring all funds for enterprise. They will plan and manage about all expenditure of fund that is need. For instance production department need fund for production and that is fulfilled by this department as it checks all budget related with production and permits funds for same. Marketing Function: The role of marking department is to promote product or services in order to increase sales and profit of company with the help of social media, E- commerce, advertising, and digital media source(Hillemane, Satyanarayana and Chandrashekar, 2019). This department is internet with all other departments of Tesco as this department requires funds for promotional activities that time mangers of marking department need to contact with finance department. Human resources department It mainly concerned with recruiting skilled and talented candidate within company as it is important in order to launch new innovative and creative products for garbing numerous consumers. This department has interrelation with other all other departments as it aids in recruiting potential applicants on the basis required skills for performing challenging and difficult task as well as for combatting with rivalries. Operation department: The task that operation department hold is manufacturing, packaging, labelling and delivering of goods or services. In every business company it is important because it aids mangers to effectively manages, control and supervision the goods, services and consumers (Willcocks, Lacity and Sauer,201). In relation to Tesco, this department is interned with all other section of firm such as it helps finance department to maximize the effectiveness of inventory by managing stock as well as helps sales department in planning about future sales targets. Discuss academic skills and techniques that are essentials for undergraduate student. Academics skills are important for increasing knowledge & skills in order to achieve success and growth in career. In which undergraduate student need to acquire some academic knowledgesuchaswriting,deliveringpresentation,timemanagementandtheexcellent communication skills to perform task in effective way as it is need for starting their professional career. All these skill will aids them to achieve growth and success in future as time management
