PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
The focus of this project is to train the employees at Lowes regarding maintaining
workplace health and safety standards. The objectives of the project are listed as
follows.
To conduct a training sessions for the Lowes employees regarding
maintaining a safe workplace
To conduct detailed activity sessions for the Lowes employees regarding
possible actions that can be taken in the workplace during various hazards
To raise awareness among the employees regarding healthy and safe
workplace
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the project is to raise awareness regarding safe and healthy
workplace among the employees of Lowes. It has been seen in the past that there
have been some hazards in the workplace due to which, injuries were inflicted on
many employees. These problems could have been avoided if appropriate training
was provided to the employees by a group of professionals. It is very important to
maintain a safe and healthy environment at the workplace and it can only be
achieved with proper training to the employees.
SCOPE:
The primary scope of the project is to provide suitable training to the employees of
the company regarding the workplace health and safety measures. While the basic
objective to provide suitable training as specified earlier, the scope also involves
raising strong awareness among the employees to be able to undertake suitable
actions during hazards or even maintain some daily work that can ensure safety of
the workplace. In this project, there will be various layers of training that will be
provided to the employees along with some additional lecture sessions for raising
the awareness about a safe workplace. The scope also involves demonstration of
hazard situations within the office premises and evaluation of the employees’
actions against such hazards.
While these are included in the project, there are certain aspects that are excluded
from the project. For instance, development of risk management plan,
development of employee activity program for combating the hazards and other
internal matters are out of scope of the project.

PRIORITY:
Priority must be given to the training process that is essential for the project. Each and
every training module is to be treat with priority and must be completed within the
specified time and budget.
