Project Title: Study Buddy Squad B
Project Description:
This project is based on a University matchmaking website which gives on-campus and cloud
students a chance to connect with students with similar interests. This website main focus is
to match students enrolled in similar units, interests and skills.
Project aims:
The primary aim of this reflection is to show my experiences in the course and my
involvement in the group activity that I was assigned

Introduction
The primary aim of this reflection is to show my experiences in the course and my
involvement in the group activity that I was assigned. The course equipped me with the
relevant knowledge regarding website creation, designing and development. Due to the
complex nature associated with website development, our tutor put us into groups with each
member assigned different roles which will lead to the delivery of the intended website. I was
awarded the coding section and ensure the overall development of the site. Ideally, my work
involved putting together the various agreed features into codes to make a suitable site.
Reflection:
Becoming a website developer requires patience and a particular set of skills that dictate
professional questioning, (Bailey 2019). Incorporating observations and opinions from the
tutor, team members and random website developers is just part of the development process
which leads in the creation of a sharp wit that is essential in maneuvering the coding process
in the website design and development world. The designing process is tiresome but hugely a
fundamental step in building a website, (Aronson, 2011). When confronted with coding
challenges, it is essential to think critically about the various ways of maneuvering around the
process. Making my site and taking part in numerous related projects has impacted my
website development journey, a journey that I hope to commit for the better part of my life.
Although there is no particular answer to the requirement of purpose, working to develop

several amazing sites has defined my development as a web developer in ways difficult to
achieve in any other means.
Signing for the course, at least for me, was among the unceremonious triumphs that
illustrated to the enormous amount of work I will have to cover in four months. I joined the
course with a well-established passion in website designing and development but with a steep
knowledge which could not sustain me through the course. I hade to break from my comfort
zone and relearn coding and all other aspects of web design and development. Most of the
activities carried out in the course initiated all the relearning process. My status as among the
honors student in the class allowed me to interact with some of the most gifted web designers
and developers in the institution. The tutor was among the most sort after developers in the
region and his rigorous sessions made me think critically and deeply regarding the structure
and elements of website development strategy. In most of the weekly activities, I learned
refined details of coding which enabled me to develop excellent sites consistently. Most of
the actions required close attention to more information, coding clarity, and close analysis
and synthesis of critical issues. In meeting the class requirements, my previous vague and
formulaic coding skills became sharper and consequently, I became a free-thinking and gifted
web developer, (Plumley 2017). The lessons have profoundly helped shatter development
barriers.
Evolving from old coding and website development habits is just the initial step, however.
Most of the lessons I learn in class involved definitive coding skills and the various
approaches required in developing better sites, (Zambon and Dumay, 2016). The
development of primary sites with limited functionality was not considered good enough.
Thus, during my group assignment where I was among the coding team, I hade to wend
around the jungle of consistent and gruesome coding process which mostly required my
judgment regarding most of the processes involved. My initial attempts seemed more juvenile
