Reason for closing the project
The project has been delivered successfully and the developed website is getting
positive response from the consumers and the employees of the organization. The developed
website has not been very efficient as the timeline and the budget of the project was increased
much more than the expectation and thus, the internal stakeholders, or team members of the
project had to work longer and harder in manner to complete the project. The design was the
major cause behind the project as it took twice the expected time and twice budget was
invested on preparing the logo only.
Highlights and Innovations
The project was delivered for modifying the existing website and asking it more
informative and innovative for the delivery and management of the operational activities.
This will allow the organization to perform online and deliver the necessary operational
activities in much efficient and effective manner and also increase the overall revenue of the
organization. The website will allow the organization to function and deliver the e-
commercial operations and expanding the business overseas. The development of the new
website will be much more informative and operational related to the selling of the products
and associating more consumers.
Summary of Recommendations
Following the list of the recommendations:
The project management and risk management during that phase must consider all the
consequences those might influence the project in negative manner.
The planning and the project delivery should be made under the guidance of an
experienced leader or manager.

The developed website must be regularly audited under the guidance of an IT team
that is already experienced in this sector.
The website should be continuously updating regarding the specifications and the
details those need to be implemented within the developed system form assuring that the
proposed project is capable of meeting the demands and the requirements.
Performance against Objectives
The project lagged in two objectives including timeline and budget however, the
output of the final delivery was as per the planned objectives. The objective of the project
was to complete within the estimated timeline and budget that was not delivered. The website
was estimated to be effective and efficient in attracting more consumers and enhancing the
overall revenue that was accomplished successfully. The delivered project was capable and
effective enough in attracting the consumers and assuring that the project will deliver the
necessary outcomes.
Performance against outcomes
The targeted outcomes were to expand the business through reaching overseas
consumers of the Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan and allowing the consumers to make sure
that the consumers awareness can be increased towards the products being offered and thus,
enhancing the productivity and outcomes of the project. The project outcome can be said to
be closer to the estimation as the customers interest has seen to be increasing and they are
looking forward to avail the estimated services and recommendations to their family and
friends. The business analyst and the website developer need to assure that the developed
website complies with the needs and requirements of the consumers and the organization.
