Introduction
The following report reflects on Corwin Corporation which has grown into a 950-million-
dollar corporation by the year 2003 (Hayes, 2018). It comes up with an international reputation
for manufacturing of rubber components at low-cost. Corwin can be considered to be similar
with the word “quality”. This ultimately provided management of this organization with the
ultimate luxury of having a large number of products which come up extreme type of lifecycle.
In the upcoming pages of the report, a proper idea has been provided regarding different
kinds of process which are involved in dealing with change management in an organization.
After that, an analysis has been done regarding change management and its impact on various
kinds of parameters like scope, time, quality and cost.

List of processes involved
A change request can be easily stated like a formal proposal of any kind of alteration in
some of the product or system. A change request mainly comes into action when client
organization wants to make any kind of alteration (Cameron & Green, 2015). A change request
is considered to be beyond the scope of the agreement, it merely focuses on the fact that client
needs to pay for the extra resources. In the given case study, the organization that is Corwin
corporation is receiving a large number of request for manufacturing of some kinds of special
products (Donnelly & Kirk, 2015).

In the given case study, West conducted around 15 tests under the Ray request. The test

it (Cameron & Green, 2015). Ray continuously provide information back to Delia focusing on
the fact that Corwin organization was unable to produce any kind of beneficial output. After that,
Delia ordered ray to make any kind of necessary step which is needed for ensuring a perfect
completing of a project.
The real cost of the given project is considered to be much different expected cost.

can be considered to be one of the most difficult things to control in a project (Hornstein, 2015).
It has been encountered in a large number of projects that change management practices low
value of change cost in comparison to the project budget. Change is scope can easily rank in the
top issues for a project manager. It can easily have a large amount of effect on the cost of the
project.
Project cost management can be easily stated as one of the important factors for project
management (Kuipers et al., 2014). It is mainly inclusive of various activities and tools which
can be used for completing the given project within the given budget. For managing the cost-
ineffective way there are three points which must be taken into consideration like project cost
estimation, project cost budgeting and lastly project cost control.
Option for satisfying change request
Five steps which can be taken for satisfying change requests are
Request for any kind of supporting materials
Analyzing the fact that whether the change request is inside or outside the project.
Team for assessing the priority of change request.
Approval or rejection of any kind of change request for the project.
Making a decision regarding the course of action.
Five steps can be easily taken for managing various kinds of risk in a project like value or
priority, timing, cost, and impact.

Value and priority: As the rubber project is much visible and important, one needs to set
some kinds of high limits so that various kinds of changes can be easily avoided (Donnelly &
Kirk, 2015).
Timing: If the change request arrives at the beginning of rubber project then any change can
be easily absorbed (Goetsch & Davis, 2014). But if the changes are made at the 50% of the
project then it can interfere with the timely completion of the project.
Cost: Rubber project easily increase or decrease the project cost (Matos Marques Simoes, &
Esposito, 2014). For properly managing the changes project manager should set up some limits
for the changes so that they can easily manage the budget.
Impact: For maintaining proper kind of control on project change one needs to identify the
fact that how it can affect the rubber project as a whole.
Complete change request control which is used in the workplace
A change request is generally made in the form when a member of a team believes the
fact that change is required (Van der Voort, 2014). The change will help the employee of Corwin
corporation for meeting their objectives. The change form will bring a large number of benefits
like:

Implementation of the formal approval process
Analyzing the effect of changes.

inquiries related to manufacturing of a large number of products. In the above pages of the

Change management theories
Change management can be defined as a well-known term which is mainly used for
referring to the change or transition on a large number of people and organization. There is
mainly seven change management model like Lewin change management model, McKinsey 7
model, Kotter’s change management theory, nudge theory, ADKAR model, bridges transition
model, Kubler- Ross five-stage model.
Lewis changes management model: It is one of most of the popular and effective kind
of model which helps an individual to have a proper understanding regarding the organizational
and structural changes. This model comprises of three main stages namely unfreeze, change and
refreeze.
McKinsey 7 S model: This particular model has managed to easily persist even when

Kotter change management theory: It is considered to be one of the most popular and
