INTRODUCTION The Gibbs model of reflection is a model which is used by the person in order to critically evaluate the person from in and out and to make the necessary changes as required. This is a model which analyses the skills which are good in a person and which are not (Waltz, 2019). Thus, the current report is based on the reflection written by an employee who is employed in IT company named Briteyellow for the role of formulating HR policies and handbook for the working and running of the company. MAIN BODY While working in the IT company that is Briteyellow I learnt many different types of things and skills and attributes and these were helpful for me in undertaking all the activities within good and effective manner. In the country I was hired to make the HR policies and also to write the handbook for the company in which all the rules and regulations governing the company will be highlighted. In this post I worked in the group of six and I experienced many good and bad incidents which helped me in enhancing my insight and level of knowledge. This is majorly because of the fact that in the group there were different types of employees and all were experienced and this gave me opportunity to work with experienced employees and this increased my level of knowledge. With this job profile in Briteyellow I learnt that HR is the most important part within the whole organization. This is majorly because of the reason that without human capital no work can be undertaken within the company. Also in this situation I witnessed that team working is very necessary for the effective working of the company. In the present situation I was allotted to work in company for making the HR policies and to implement them in the company for effective and efficient working. While working for the development of the HR policies for Briteyellow I felt that this was a very tough task and this requires a lot of efforts and hard work. With the experience of creating the HR policies I felt that I have a lot of good knowledge relating to the HR and its concept. Thus, it was a little easy for me to complete the task of creating the policies. Also, with this task I felt that communication is the key for getting the success (Tawanwongsri and Phenwan, 2019). This is majorly because of the fact that without communication not a single work can be done and for making the policies it is very necessary to communicate in clear and in understandable manner. Also, with the help of this task I felt that for the effective working it is very essential to
have proper time management. This is necessary because of the fact that all the activities within the business are interconnected and for completion of one activity the prior activity needs to be completed (Tanaka, Okamoto and Koide, 2018). Thus, in the end I felt that it is very important for me to have proper communication and coordination among all the activities of the business. This is necessary in order to have clear and coordinated business activities and formulation of the polices in effective and efficient manner. With the help of the evaluation of the case of formulating the policies for the HR in Briteyellow I evaluated that making policies is a very tough task. The major reason underlying this fact is that with the making of the policies is very tedious task and it is very necessary to have patience at time of making of the policies. This is necessary because of the fact that for making policies first the previous policies and rules need to studied and analysed and then the new policies are being formulated. Also, with the help of this task of formulating the policies for HR I learnt that the major task is analysing ability and logical reasoning. This is pertaining to the fact that for the making of the policies it is very necessary for the policy maker to critically analyse the current and previous policies and then reconcile it with the current environment going on within the market and business. This requires critical ability for the person to analyse all the strategies and policies and then make the new policies. With the help of this task I also evaluated that it is very necessary for me to have good interpersonal skills. This is necessary because of the fact that I work in group and for this the most important thing is having good interpersonal skills as there needs to be continuous interaction with the other people within the group. Further I analysed the whole activity and with this I realised that the business exists in dynamic environment and it is very important for me to evaluate all the necessary and relevant changes within the policies of HR. I also, analysed that for this I need to have good and effective researching skills as I have to research for the changes taking place within the business environment. But this researching skills are less in me and I need to develop these researching skills so that I can further develop these skills. Also, with the help of critical evaluation and analysis I learnt that the another skill which was lacking in me was the proper coordination among the business activities (Carter and Carter, 2019). This is majorly pertaining to the fact that there are many different activities which are coordinated with one another and completion of one activity leads to the initiation of the other activity. Also, with the help of the analysis I gathered

knowledge that the communication skill within me are good. This is evident because of the fact thatI am ableto communicatewith otheremployeesand group membersin clearand understandable manner. Also, other people are able to understand my message to a great extent and they work in direction which I provide to them (Von Solms and Nel, 2017). In the end it can be concluded that making and formulating the HR policies within the business is a really tough task. This is majorly because of the fact that these policies guide the working of the whole company and the handbook being created is very important for the effective working of the company. With the help of this analysis I learnt that there are many different types of skills which are good in me but along with this also there are some skills which are not good in me. Hence, all these skills need to be developed in me so that I become more competent and efficient in comparison to other people and employees within the group. Also, I realised that the good skill in me are communication, interpersonal skill, I have good knowledge base relating to the subject matter that is HR. But with the analysis I also realised that there are many skills which needs to improved and enhanced like researching skills, proper coordination among different activities and many other skills need to be developed in me for getting competitive advantage over the other employees. In the end there is a need to develop the skills which are lacking in me as this will increase my capability and the strengths which I possess. This is basically because of the reason that the competition with the business is very high and it is necessary for me to develop all the flaws which are there in me so that I gain a competitive advantage. Hence, for developing the researching skill I need to first start reading different articles, books and journals so that I can gain proper knowledge what is going within the market. Hence, this will increase my researching skill as I will be able to research with different papers and websites for all the changes going on within the business environment. Also, the another skill which I need to develop is the coordination skill as there need to be balance between all the activities which are undertaken within the business. Hence, for this the most important thing I need to learn is the skill of delegation (Ahmed, 2020). This is necessary because of the fact that when the authority and responsibility are properly delegated to the employees then there will be proper coordination. This is majorly because of the reason that when every person will know what they have to do in advance then there is proper coordination as every employee knows what work they have to do and when.
CONCLUSION In the end it can be summarised that the proper knowledge is very necessary to be inherited within the person. Hence, for this evaluation the Gibbs reflective cycle was used in order to evaluate the working ability and the skills of the person. This model helped the person in analysing the fact that whether they are capable to work effectively or not and is not then what are the areas in which they are lacking and the ways in which they can improve.
