1. Introduction
Project leadership is simply project organization and its competence is
to control project. Within small project it has been represented by individual
project manager. Main motive behind project leadership is to accomplish
predetermined goals and objectives within effective manner as per the
requirement (Meng and Boyd 2017). Furthermore, positive organizational
culture result in doing activities related to project within effective manner.
Because positive culture motivate staff members as well as enhance their
productivity which result in achieving organizational objectives. Apart from
this, communication is most important part of company as it helps in sharing
information with everyone and result in doing activities within effectual
manner (Omotayo 2015; Quirke 2017).
Last experience related to same work play important role as it
developed skills and knowledge which assist in conducting present project
within effective manner. Thus, previous experience is adding greater value in
management of present project. Apart from this, there are some important
terms in project i.e., time, cost, quality and phase which have to be consider
for achieving objectives. Moreover, cost of project is decided in starting while
doing financial planning and for every activity funds are allocated for
conducting project. Furthermore, phase related to implementing change
should be decided by service providers so that as per requirement of patient
modification will be implemented (Sodeyfi 2016).

Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center (CMRC) was able to admit
around 5030 patients over 4 years since opened in the UAE as inpatient
rehabilitation provider. Two years ago, it introduced a new service of
outpatient rehabilitation that had a worthy success with average of 30,000
visits/year.
The main intent of this project is to shed light on the project leadership
along with elements: leading the strategic objectives, financial plan,
communication etc.
I am Rahma Al Badi declare that I am the sole author of this

2. Evaluation of the financial plan and strategic objectives of the
project
Financial planning is simply procedure of estimating capital needed as
well as help in determining competition. It is the process of framing financial
policies in term of investment, administration of funds, procurement and
many more. Financial planning is carried in the starting of project so that
every activity will conduct according to allocated funds. Budget facilitate in
minimizing extra cost incur while conducting project. There are some
objectives of financial planning which will support Cambridge medical and
rehabilitation center in accomplishing their objectives related to homecare
services. Because it will help in determining capital required for completion

of project which looked with both aspects of project i.e., short term and long
term. Along with this, financial planning ensure that scare financial resources
will utilize maximally within best manner. Furthermore, financial planning
helps in ensuring appropriate balance within outflow as well as inflow of
funds for maintaining stability. It result in reducing level of uncertainness
related to changing market trend (Steiss 2019). .
Importance of well grounded financial plan: At the time of
designing project it is important to analyze total funds which needed for
completing each and every activity of project as it involve both direct and
indirect cost. Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center have to design
cost of project which is needed for achieving objects related to homecare
services. In addition to this, with the assistance of project cost overall
activities related to fund will conduct with effective manner and result in
accomplishing objectives. Apart from this, financial plans provide their
assistance in achieving predetermined objectives because with the
assistance of this resources are allocated in appropriate manner for each and
every activity. When there are funds for conducting each and every activity
it will get easy for individual and they also enjoy doing work when there are
suitable resources as per requirement (Boyle 2017).
Accomplishing goals: Financial needs to be frame in starting of
project after setting goals and objective. Cambridge Medical and
Rehabilitation Center design financial plan within starting so that the
homecare services will conduct within effective manner. Along with this, its

implementation will be beneficial for respective research center as it not
result in incurring any type of extra cost. Moreover, financial status if
decided in appropriate manner result in success of project and
accomplishing objectives within effective manner (Boyle 2017).
3. Reflection on the management and leadership of the project
Project leadership is simply act related to leading team for completion
of project in successful manner. Moreover, project leadership needs skills as
well as knowledge in both management and leadership. Management and
leadership is part of soft skills, art and science all these work together and
result in completing project within effective manner. Along with this, within
project leadership individual lead or guide other people who are working on
same project. So that, activities related to that will conduct in effective
manner and result in achieving better outcomes. With leadership there is
requirement of project management also so that as per planning day to day
activities will be conducted. Management is necessary because with the
assistance of it project will done in better manner as well as employees also
feel good by doing things in managed way (Geithner 2016).
But sometime management and leadership may have negative impact
on completion of project. Because sometimes staff members started feeling
restricted because of management and leadership as they do things
according to given instructions and guidance. Moreover, when modifications
take place in leader and manager have to change present style on which
they are working. This create issue and problem for staff member because

they have to work as per modification which is not liked by them as they are
coming out of comfort zone. Apart from this, business environment is
dynamic in nature and several changes take place. Same as per the
modification Cambridge medical and rehabilitation centre have to do
changes in their existing style.Although, staff members are important in
organization without them it is not possible to implement changes and do
work on it (Noe et al. 2017; Inigo, Albareda and Ritala 2017).
Democratic theory: By making use of an effective leadership theory like
transformational and democratic they can build a strong team. This team
can help members in reducing their errors and improving overall
productivity. It also makes students feel valued when they are supported and
guided in the right direction.
Tools for supporting leadership and management: Work
breakdown structure is project management tool which divide project into
small components. Simply WBS is key project deliverable which organize
team work within small manageable sections. Cambridge medical and
rehabilitation center also use work breakdown structure for managing
activities in small sections. Work breakdown structure provide proper
assistance as well as result in its completion (Harrison 2017).
4. Ongoing project team performance improvement
Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center’s project is introducing
homecare services which is large as well as there are numerous people

involved within it because of that sometimes other department work get
affected. This ongoing project need support for improving performance of
team which will be provided by top level authorities of Company. Explanation
of these are as follows:
 Delegate responsibilities – For improvement within team
performance burden should not be given to individual it has to be
delegate. So that, performance will improve because work will be
assigned as per individual person ability.
 Communicate effectively –Staff member feel themselves as a part of
business which result in improving their productivity as well as
performance when they are being involve in communication process
(Gambardella, Panico and Valentini 2015).
Along with improving performance of team member it is important to
manage project in proper manner. So that, appropriate outcomes will be gain
related to project there is a methodology which Cambridge Medical and
Rehabilitation Centre can use. Explanation of this are as follows:
Critical Path Method (CPM) – It is project management technique
utilize for process planning which define critical as well as non-critical. There
are some steps within Critical path method explanation of these are as
follows:

 Step 1: Activity specification – I am using WBS for identifying activities
which are included within project it is main input. Within this, higher
level activities are chosen for making critical path method.
 Step 2: Activity Sequence establishment – Within this accurate
activities sequence will established according to task happen first and
so on.
 Step 3: network diagram – When activities are sequence in correct way
then network diagram will be drawn. Now a days diagram design
through several software such as Primavera.
 Step 4: Estimation for every activity – It is simply direct input from
work breakdown structure which is based on estimation sheet.
 Step 5: Identification of critical path – There is requirement of
determining four parameters of every network activity such as earliest
start time, earliest finish time, latest finish time and latest start time.
The float time for an activity is the time between the earliest (ES) and
the latest (LS) start time or between the earliest (EF) and latest (LF)
finish times. In floating time activities can be delayed without delaying
in its finishing date.
 Step 6: Critical path diagram to show project processes - Critical path
diagram is a live artefact. Therefore, this diagram should be updated
with actual values once the task is completed (Zareei 2018).

5. Information sharing between key stakeholders and strategic
decision making
Organizational culture is explained as underlying beliefs, assumptions,
value as well as way of getting interact which contribute within unique social
as well as psychological environment within an organization. In simple term,
it includes expectations, experiences, philosophy and values which guide
individual behavior. It is based on sharing of attitude belief, custom and
many more. Thus, positive organization culture gives wide impact on
performance of staff member as their productivity will get increase and
result in accomplishing objectives of project in better manner (Scott et al.
2018).
Importance of communication: Along with this, communication has
to be effective and should have proper pathway because without sharing
information it will be difficult to conduct daily basis activities in better
manner. Along with this staff member also feel de-motivate when required
information will not share with them. Thus, it is important for an organization
to involve staff member within communication process so that they will feel
motivated and productivity will get enhance. In addition to this, information
sharing with stakeholders result in getting competitive advantages because
decision taken by them are effective as well as help in achieving objectives
(Noe et al. 2017).
Practical implementation: In addition, in the context of organizational
communication it can be said that lack of communication and ineffective

modes of using communication can create miscommunication. For example:
An organization wants to communicate and tell to their stakeholders about
change management and launching a new product. If it uses in appropriate
ways of communicating or improper language then it can create barriers in
the path of the success. So, it is important for companies to make use of
either E-mail and face to face mode of communication. By calling or
gathering all stakeholders at one place and conducting meeting they can
inform or communicate with them in an effective manner which can help
them out in accomplishing goals. So, it can be said that modes of
communication and way of talking is vital for success.
Constant flow of information: It allows companies to have constant
information of flow with their stakeholders by which stakeholders also keep
engaged with them. This constant and continuous flow of informations can
be made when companies keep themselves update as what is going on in
the market and make use of effective modes of communication. It can also
help them out in improving relationship and having support of stakeholders
in meeting goals.
6. My own development over this term
As there are several new things getting emerge within business
environment which need to develop skills and knowledge of own also. So
that, I will work as per the requirement and achieve required outcome in life.
In critical analysis and with the help of SWOT analysis I identified both areas
in which I am good and those skills which can help me out in career

development and those areas which I need to improve more for
accomplishing goals. With critical analysis I found that my time management
and communication skills are not goos. Communication is not only limited to
talking as it is also required having active listening and public speaking. I am
good in active listening but at the time of talking in front of public I face
problems. So, I need to increase confidence.
For personal development there is requirement of conducting personal and
professional assessment so that weakness will be identified and ways to
improve it (Levant, Coulmont and Sandu 2016). My own personal and

Conclusion
By doing overall project it has been concluded that, it is important to
manage decided project within effective manner. Along with this, there are
some elements which play essential role such as time, quality, cost and
phase because without keeping in mind all these it become difficult to
complete project. Furthermore, after identifying objectives of project next
step is to do financial planning so that funds will be allocated to each and
every activity. Then day to day operations related to project will be
conducted in effective manner and predetermined objectives will be gained.
In addition to this, previous projects develop skills and knowledge
which help in conducting present project within more effective manner. In
first project difficulties faced by me was several but after that these are not
repeated by me in homecare services related project. Apart from this, every
project have leader and manager who decide the manner in which project
related activities will be conducted so that objectives can achieved. There is
requirement of several efforts so that ongoing project will manage in proper
manner and positive outcomes will be gained.
