The project mainly reflects on the practices of PRINCE2 that are helpful in selecting the
best suburb for constructing a home. It is found that as engaged with a new job in Perth it is
necessary to have a home in Perth and as per the Keystart initiative by the Western Australian
government both the partner who moved to Perth for job, applied to this initiative by submitting
an application. For this, they selected a location of land size 40,000 square feet in Highgate
suburb that is mainly located two kilometres away from north east of Perth. In addition to this,
proper research is mainly done and after research it is found that “Commodore Homes “is
selected as home builder whom the construction work will be assigned. Moreover, the entire
layout as well as design is created on the cost for building the house with the different builder
who were selected. The paper also helps in explaining factors that are generally helpful in
designing the layout and proper discussion is done on the lean best practices for achieving the
lean project management.
