2 PROJECT MANAGEMENT Team Management Report To achieve a high-quality outcome, the project team came up with a quality management plan with clear and realistic objectives spanning over the project’s development phase. Team Organization The management subdivided and allocated different roles according to their place in the management tree. The team picked the team principal, who isthe highest rank in the management team. This personnel ensured that other team members played their allocated duties, well management ofproject’s equipment and data, team members attendance and ensured working toward a clear direction as planned by the team (Zulch, 2018). Team Structure and Roles The team chose to operate on a hieratical team structure with some members having some elevated roles while everyone had their allocated tasks. Going down the management structure, members had other periodical roles like a timekeeper and notes taker in meetings. Team Management The team management was done following some good practice strategy. However, these strategies affected some aspects of the project and impacted positively to the overall performance of the project (Yeh, 2019). The used hieratical structure ensured easily monitored progress and documentation of the entire project.
3 PROJECT MANAGEMENT Communication Report Throughout the project, communication was well planned and monitored. This was to ensure timekeeping and proper security on the project information. The good link among team members involved in the project provided smooth diffusion of ideas and necessary information towards the success of the project( Blair, 2017). For an effective communication plan, the team subdivided the communication activities in a hierarchical model with project team leader and project supervisor who had some elevated duties. Team members used to have meetings to discuss project progress, introduction, and discussion of new ideas and review the agenda of the previous meeting. During these meetings, a selected timekeeper ensured that the group adhered to the time allocated for a specific topic and notes taken to be distributed to the participants at the end of the meeting ( Karnwal, 2016). Although this was not the most appropriate method of communication, live-streamed conference, WhatsApp messaging, phone text being time convenient, team leaders contacted other members using electronicmails.Electronic mails ensured that the project was professional, error-free and brief communication is used where necessary. Along with the project progress space, some members used to come up with different ideas and documents. While some were ruled unnecessary many contributed positively towards thedevelopment of an all rounded, convenient and innovative approach while designing and developing the project.
