Project title: Office Relocation
Introduction
There is always a need for proper planning and the organization for the need of
successful office relocation from one place to another. Project management is an essential part
that ensures the activities that are to be delivered and will help to deliver all the value that are
included in the business opportunity. All the client includes strategic goals and the projects needs
to include many advance goals (Bagchi, Sahu and Jena 2017). Project management ensures rigor
architecting that properly fits in the broader context for implementing strategic frameworks. The
concept of project management helps to ensure the project goals that actually aligns with the
business strategic goals.
The project management helps to identify some solid business case and includes
methodical tools including Calculating of ROI. The importance of project management helps to
ensure the thing that is to be delivered and should deliver the real value in the project. While
including the project management methodology, the project manager mainly ensures that project
is as the part of realignment. Project management is really important for carrying out a project
and carry out the business need of the project. The basics that are needed for managing a project
from starting to finish the project requires a team having different skills and talents for achieve
the business need of the project. This project contains the details of relocating the office to the
new business park from a Metropolis City Centre. All the details are stated below in the report.
Project Context
The project that is included in this report states relocating the call center from the
Metropolis City Centre to the a business park. Project management strategy is involved for

project relocation that will help to include all the necessary activities that are to be taken in
completing the project. The relocation plan for the office includes necessary tasks for completing
the project successfully. The first main task in office relocation mainly includes a project plan for
relocating the office. This step is the most important step that is to be carried out for office
relocation. The plan for office relocation helps to identify the person who are responsible for the
task and the time when the task can be completed within the budget.
The office that is to be relocated include 250 members including the separate office space
including 5 senior executives, 3 different teams including 10 staff members each of finance and
payroll, 4 human resources staff members, 230 staff members are there for the call center
operations. Main task that is to be carried out in this report includes relocating the office in some
other place and include three months to complete the project. The total budget of the project that
is to be undertaken is £50,000. The tools and techniques included in project management are
carried out for completing the project and all those tools and techniques are defined in this
project.
Project management is included in completing the project of office relocation. Proper
project plan is to be created for completing the project. The main reason for relocation of the
office are to be listed and create a small team of project planning in the system. There should be
project leader who will be responsible for conducting the project and completing it successfully.
Pestle analysis should be included for carrying out this project relocation. The estimation of the
budget is also to be included in this project along with the WBS. This report consists of risk
analysis, RACI matrix as well as includes stakeholder management for relocating the office.

Stated above that project management methods and technologies are very necessary for
carrying out relocation of the office. The techniques and the tools included in project
management are to be ensured in this project for relocating the office. For relocating the office,
the might be many risks that are to be carried out for completing the project all those facts are
explained clearly in the project. The Office relocation includes shifting the entire office in a new
place that includes better space, better management and better working environment. There will
be space allocated for different departments and managerial persons. Six methods or techniques
are used for carrying out the relocation office. Project management is one of the important tool
that is required for completing the project.
The need for carrying out this project plan mainly includes carrying out different project
management technologies that are helpful for completing the project. This report details the
PESTLE analysis for relocating the office. Detailed of PESTLE analysis is described in the
section below. The resources that are needed for carrying out this project is also explained in this
report as Gantt chart. The total time that is allocated for the office relocation is 3 months and the
budget that is specified for the project is £50,000. This project states the WBS for the project
stating the activities that are included in the project. For relocating the office, there are many
risks that are to be handled those risks are mentioned in this paper along with the RACI matrix
stating which resource is Responsible, the resource should be Accountable, the resource should
be Consulted and it should also be Informed for all the activities stated to complete the project
plan. There are many stakeholders who are associated with the project and stakeholder matrix is
needed for completing the project. All the project management strategies including the project
techniques or the project tools are to be carried out completing the relocation of the project.
Technique 1: PESTLE Analysis

The PESTLE analysis is considered to be a strategic planning that is mainly used for
evaluating the political, the economic, social as well as the technological impacts of carrying out
the project. PESTLE analysis of a project also includes the legal issues that are included in
carrying out the project and the environmental factors included in the project. The external
factors of a project are mainly carried out for in PESTLE analysis for completing the project
successfully. This tool is the best way to analyze the potential risks as well as the issues that are
included in a project. The PESTLE analysis is considered as a strategic framework that includes
all the external influences to complete the project. All the factors of this framework are explained
briefly in the section below:
Political: The political factors mainly determines the governmental factors that are
applied for carrying out this project. The government can impose new duty and taxes that are
included in generating the project plan. The tax or the duty that may be imposed in the project
will lead to change in the budget of the project. The political factors that are to be considered for
relocating the project are the tax policies, the lease policies of the new building, the trade tariffs
that government may apply that include relocating of the office. This political factors may affect
the political factor in the organization.
Economic: All economic factors that are included in this project mainly determines the
economy performance that impacts the project directly. The economy performance affects the
project in long term. This has long term effect on the project. The economic factors that are
included in this includes economic growth, interest rates and the FDI accounts for the companies.
If the economic factors increases, then the project budget will increase that will affect the
scheduled time for completing the project.
