INTRODUCTION
Project management is defined as managing different aspects or sages associated with
the specific project. This report will discuss about the project management practices used.
Henceforth, this will include project management charter. Methods used to deliver the project
will also discuss in this report. Brief stakeholder analysis will also summarises in this project.
Furthermore, overview in respect to cost estimation will also done in this report. Furthermore,
risk associated with different aspects of the entire project will also discuss so that proper
strategies could have been established to achieve overall aim and objectives behind the study.
Task 1
1.1) Summary of project
Warley Plumbing Solutions (WPS) is a plumbing organisation based in the Liverpool,
United Kingdom. Company contain a 15 years of experience which allowed the business entity
to emerge significantly in United Kingdom. Current;y company own a limited staff along with
limitation in resources. Only few departments and selected employees are working to meet
company's responsibilities. Currently business entity is exploring the client requirements with
support of the manual operations and hard copy file systems to manage the data and information
associated with the client. Now the organisation is suffering from high work pressure due to the
increased number of clients against the quality services deliver by business entity (Bibarsov and
et.al., 2017). To mitigate and cope up with the increased work pressure and work load company
is planning to install the latest software and technology tools that can allow the entity to
implement the network access and also to share the centralised file stored on the local server.
Company is also planning to install smart technology so that delivery program could have been

optimized in against to drive efficiency, streamlining online calls of customers, increasing
inclusive and personalised view, maximising values and creating new KPI and standardised
process. Company do not currently contain IT team which further increasing obstacles for entity
to install system properly.
Constraints
The installation project undertaken by WPS contain a limited scope. This system will
allow the business entity to install high systems that will lead by an experienced professionals.
Cost incurred in the installation of system is also huge. This project will also require
maintenance cost which will create extra financial pressure over the business entity. Installation
of this project is also time-consuming process. Company will also have to channelise training a
development that will further increase the cost of the project (Owusu And et.al., 2019).
Customer satisfaction against the project is also the possible constraint as this element keep on
changing in context to the business entity. Resources is also limited in the bank of WPS as it is a
small business entity.
1.2 Project charter
Aim:
 To successfully install software project at the WPS.
Objectives
 To achieve effective control over installing software at WPS.
 To minimise risk involve in installation of project.
 To establish smooth control over resourcing in project management.
Staff and team involved
In order to successfully implement the entire project staff such as finance managers,
information technology professionals, technicians, labour and other staff like human resource
professionals are needed to accomplish the entire project (Bredillet, Tywoniak and Tootoonchy,
2018). All the staff needed will work as a combined team so that best level of control could have
been established over the entire project management structure. Teams will further segregate into
human resource, IT team, finance team and such other teams like controlling team. Teams are
formed in the project as per the need and requirements associated with the project.
