Crashing is a system which used by project managers in order to reduce total duration of
the project and accomplish plan within short period of time (Project Crashing and Time-Cost

project reduced. However, cost of the total project increased which is negative aspect of crashing
such activities. Further, updated critical path and project duration are such as follows:
Updated critical path = 1+2.1+3.1+3.2+3.4+3.5+3.6+4.1+4.2
Updated project duration = 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 9 days.
Henceforth, the present project of Old Farm House renovation will be accomplished
within 9 days which is before then objectives framed i.e. 10 days.
