All the user division departments in the bank always came up with excuses to be too busy and never provided support or their input in the development of the project. The corporate development manager was also reluctant to provide the appointed project manager Jim Gunn with the needed resources as it is stated that the corporate analysts group was understaffed. Consumer banking and corporate banking division also became hostile to the project as they did not see the essence of the corporate database. The senior analysts could also not avail time to the project. 2. Describe the current impact of the business problem to your employer. The employer had to recruit a new project manager yet it is costly to the business. At the same time, the employer did not manage to retain the new manager due to employee attrition making it more costly. Loss of resources, the employer had to put in more funds to the project and also a lot of time was also wasted as the new project manager had to start afresh. This has caused inefficiency in the project pick up the process. 3. Describe how the employer will benefit from your propose project The bank will benefit by achieving its set targets and objectives as the proposed project ensure collaboration among the departments leading to maximum utilization of resources. This will ensure the Return on Investments for the employer. The employer will also benefit from the proposed project as it will reduce the business risks and costs due to strategic alignment of the project. The business is all about making profits and customers are a key factor to value increase in the business. Therefore, the proposed project will enhance the customer satisfaction through good leadership which provides the project direction. It is also beneficial as it comes up with

Describe the key deliverables you will be accountable for? As a project manager, I would be accountable for the following deliverables; Information- The information needed by the team members. For example, the training program required to ensure the project is successful. Documentation- The project manager is also accountable for documentation. The deliverables specified contracts, which is between a consultant and the company or the different parties such as departments in the company which may require the help from for the project. Plan- A plan is another deliverable the project manager has to be accountable for. You have to define the scope and develop a reliable schedule for the activities significant to the project. The resources- The project manager is accountable for the effective use of the available resources such as time, equipment, and software used for the project.
