Introduction
This report depicts the positive impacts, competitive advantages and structured revenues
that an organization can obtain with the planning and implementation of an Information System.
The company which is nominated for producing this project includes an Australia based retail
company Woolworths Limited. Project management plan is referred to as one of the most
important and crucial operational practice that is required to be implemented by every business
organization to increase the scope of their future success and confirm their sustainability.
The list of challenges which the company is continuously facing and needed to be
resolved soon for future growth are elaborated in this report. It is determined that implementation
of Information System will increase the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the business

The company nominated for the report is Woolworths Limited, it’s headquarter is located
in New South Wales, Belle Vista, Australia. This retail company offers their services to
throughout Australia and New Zealand. Woolworths limited is one of the largest retail
companies in Australia. The company considers their consumers as the most important asset and
focuses on retain their consumers (Dos Santos, Svensson and Padin 2013). In the past few years
the company has opened around 3,000 stores all around Australia and New Zealand and
