INTRODUCTIONProject management refers to the process and practice of initiating, planning, executing,controlling and closing the work of a team or group to attain specific goals and meet exceptionalgrowth criteria at a special time. The main objective of project management is to attain the aimsand objectives of the project goals within given confinement (Boyle, 2017). Project managementis an effective process because it help to keep control of costs and allows for effective changemanagement and make it less of a complex task.The objective of this assignment is to launch amajor event through which the university can publishes its technological constructed building toattract students and make the university more competitive. This report will be discussed aboutproject initiation document which consist budgetary information, timescales, objectives,approach and stakeholder analysis etc. Further will be defined about work breakdown structureand Gantt chart to use in helping to manage the tasks on a project. Risk register and short reportto the project sponsor also defined with the use of comparing Agile, Waterfall and PRINCE2methodologies.MAIN BODY1. Project Initiation DocumentationIt is one of the most important artifacts in project management which provides thefoundation for the business project. It indicates to the documentation from which the projectinitiation document is composed. PID help in describe the project scope, management andoverall success criteria that the team can go back during the time of project.ComponentsDescriptionBudgetary informationIt refers to a financial plan which describe a period often a year.This budgetary information consist the cost and fund which isinvest and consume in all activities that are organized by anorganization. In this project, the management of the institutionrequired £50,000 to run all the activities of project to organize theevent in which they can publishes the refurbishment of itstechnology constructed institution. TimescalesIn this project, the management required 6 month 21 days or 28weeks 5 days for completing this project.1

ObjectivesThe objectives of this project are as following:To publishes the technological driven institution byorganizing an event (Bucero and Englund, 2015).To attract students and make the university morecompetitive by creating awareness through this event.ApproachThe approach which is used by the disorganization in conductingevent is PRINCE2 Approach (de Carvalho, Patah and de SouzaBido, 2015). It is suitable, time and cost efficient and helpful forachieving the goals and manage project.Key staffThe key staff for this project will be students, teachers, projectsponsor, project team and other employees of the institution. Stakeholder analysisIt is an effective process of designing a new program. Stakeholdersinvolve individuals, social leaders, groups and other institutionswho are affected by the program or its results. This analysis isalways be done at the starting of the project because it help in thepenning of a log frame. Within this analysis, stakeholders arecategorized into two category such as internal and externalstakeholder. To monitor the interest of them, the management canimplement this analysis to analyze their favors and how theirinterest is managed. Stakeholder of QA Higher Education Collegeare managing director, director of operations, student, teachers andothers who have their specific interest in the project which iscarried out by the firm.
