Problem statement, research aim and research objectives 1.1 Problem statement Conflict while working within a team is inevitable in any situation as the employees spendextendedperiodoftimetogether.Themainreasonofoccurringconflictwithin Woolworths limited is the poor relationship with the employees, improper training facility as inappropriate management style as well as trouble in dealing with the changes that are required for becoming competitive. It is found that due to the rising conflicts within the teams, the productivity of the organization has been affected in the last year by 2%. As the conflict within the team is affecting the revenue as well as operation of the organization therefore it is quite necessary to focus on the strategies that would be helpful in managing the conflict within teamwork. 1.2 Research aim The main aim of the paper is to review number of journal articles as well as scholarly literatures in order to find out proper strategies that are helpful in resolving the problem that is mainly 1.3 Research objectives The research objectives are generally listed below: To review articles and scholarly papers for managing the conflict within teamwork To determine the problems that occur due to occurrence of conflict within project team To identify ways for managing conflict in project team

Brief methodology It is found that this study has selected qualitative methodology in order to properly identify the issues that are associated with the team conflict and the ways that are helpful in managing the teamwork conflict Literature review:In order to review the problems that occur due to teamwork conflict within Woolworths limited and for determining the ways through which the problems related with teamwork conflict can be gathered by reviewing number of journal articles as well as scholarly literatures(Baillien et al., 2017).In addition to this, other sources include yearly report of the organization, publicly available reports, government data and more. Data collection:It is found that data related with conflict management is mainly gathered from industry reports, journal articles, yearly report of Woolworths as well as from other publicly reports that are available (Solomon et al., 2015). 3. Secondary data and secondary data analysis method The study that mainly utilizes secondary data from the yearly reports as well as from other reports that are published by the organization “Woolworths Limited”. The report reflects on the issues that the organization is presently facing due to the conflict within the project teams. It is analyzed that as the organization is spending too much time in dealing with the conflict and thus the members are taking time away from focussing the core goals that are generally asked for achieving and as a result productivity of the organization get impacted (Currie et al., 2017). When the tension run high, the employees are taking the decision of leaving jobs which is considered as a loss for the organization as the organization never wants to lose its qualified and trained members.

In addition to this, self-awareness is considered as one of the important strategy that helps in minimizing the conflict within an organization. Moreover, it is analyzed that Woolworth must arrange the facility of regular feedback from the employees in order to deal with the issues while they are minor (Baillien et al., 2017).Collaboration with the team in order to create proper conflict resolution protocol as well as for creating proper guidelines for communication are considered to be important for the organization.
