Introduction
The UBER Company is the growing and most promising service providers for the
transportation of people from one place to another on the basis of their requirement and
distance travelled. The instant services and facilities are provided to the customers. The
organization is looking forward to develop an online mobile app for managing the
connectivity between the customers and the Uber drivers. The purpose of this paper is to
develop a project plan and applying project management practices and approaches to make
comparison in different alternatives and choice the best suitable option.
Project Charter
The project charter is developed for specifying start and finish date of the project, role and
responsibilities of the key stakeholders, scheduling of activities, process management, risks
management, and communication management to develop an online mobile application for
the Uber driver to get instant connectivity with the customers.

Project Integration management The roadmap of the project is created for designing
the stakeholder participation in the completion of
project successfully. The control procedures should be
developed for managing the request response
communication between the working parties
(Passenheim, 2015).
Project scope management The scope statement is prepared for predicting the
project risks at an early stage so that its impact can be
reduced ad avoided for the smooth functioning of the
project development life cycle.
Project time management The scheduling of the project activities helps in
setting out the deadlines by preparing the work
breakdown structure. The division of tasks helps in
determining the allocation of responsibilities to the
working members (Wilson, 2012).
Project cost management The estimation of cost helps in finalizing the project
budget. The focus should be given on resource
management program, equipment allocation, and
supply of the material.
Project quality management The end services and output of the undertaken project

should be determined so that quality standard should
be developed to meet the requirement of the
customers.
Project human resource management The organization structure of the human resource is
prepared so that the reporting of the subordinates can
be scheduled to avoid the chaotic environment.
Project communication management The stability can be developed between the internal
and external stakeholder by involving the various
communication tools according to the suitability of
the situation and availability of the resources such as
audio and video conferencing, emails, letters,
circulars, notices, and others
Project risks management The risk register is prepared for setting risks
livelihood and risks priority. The risk responses and
mitigation plans are prepared so that proactive action
plan can be controlled
Project procurement management The procurement process plan is developed for hiring
the skilled and expertise staff members from outside
so that project can be completed within the expected
date of delivery (Tan, Steel, Toleman, 2009)

and cost.
Prince 2 The controlled environment can be created by using the
Prince approach because the roles and responsibilities of the
stakeholders are pre-determined (Kharaiweish, 2013).
PERT The project evaluation review technique is used to find out
the critical path of the project activities so that it can be
done on top priority
Extreme programming The extreme programming is the best approach to provide
the quality software product at the end of the project
development life cycle.

Risk Management tools Description
Delphi Technique The risk manager is authorised to set up a team for predicting
risks associated with the project. The responses of the risks
should be gathered and compiled to analyse the impact on the
development of the project life cycle
Face to face discussion The interview is organized with the experts and team members
to analyse the gaps and concern areas of project phases
Root cause analysis The root cause of the identified risks should be analysed so
that it can be minimized for the future project
SWOT analysis The information is gathered from SWOT analysis so that risks
associated with the project should be identified
Checklist analysis The checklist of the requirement is prepared to do mapping
between the desired output and the actual output. It helps in
minimizing the difference between them and helps in
increasing level of acceptance of the project
Risk Register The risk register is prepared to identify the potential responses
associated with the identified risks. It helps in setting out the
priority by measuring its impact on the project cycle

Conclusion
It can be concluded that the extreme programming is the best project approach for managing
the activities to get high quality online application for the company. The internal rate of
return helps in measuring the project success for the Uber organization.
