Project Objectives
The purpose of this project is to design and implement network for expanding the existing
training facility of Wiz Train. The network will be designed to accommodate additional two
training rooms and one separate staff room for trainers. This project is focused on network
design and implementing it for the expansion of Wiz Train’s training facility. The
objectives being developed for the project are listed as below:
To expand the existing training facility of Wiz Train with two additional training
rooms and one separate staff room for trainers.
To design the network for expansion of the training facility.
To integrate a new IP phone with the existing IP phone network.
Background and Strategic Context
Wiz Train was founded in 2014 with a motive to provide computer training to the corporate
clients. The organization delivers technical training to the corporate clients related to
computer knowledge so that they can excel in their professional field. The company
presently has a small training facility in the city of Perth that has two training rooms,
reception area, one meeting room, one staff room and one executive office. Wiz Train is
growing with expansion in the number of clients and hence there is a need to develop their
operations by expanding the existing training facility. The organization has decided to
expand the facility by addition of two training rooms and one separate staff room for
trainers. This report focuses on the business case of expanding the existing facility so as to
ensure profitability and smooth running of the business processes within the organization.
This project relates to expansion of the existing training facility of Wiz Train so as to meet
the increase in number of clients. The aim of this project is to design a network based on the
existing network infrastructure so that the two additional training rooms and one room for
staffs can be accommodated within the existing facility. The hardware specifications and
operating system that are used on the server are listed as below:
