1. Introduction
1.1 Background of the case study
The paper mainly reflects on the construction of strip footings. It is found that the main
aim of the project is to create components of project management plan by utilizing proper
information. It is found that the construction of the bungalow will generally be supported with
the brick piers as well as timber joints whereas the roof is tiled properly. It is found that
bungalow that is constructed mainly includes six different rooms in total, kitchen dining, lounge,
main bedroom, guest bathroom, second bedroom as well as laundry. It is found that the
construction of Bungalow project is quite helpful in providing proper business value to the
construction company.
1.2 Project aims and objectives
The main aim of the project is to properly construct the bungalow on strip footings that
will further include six different rooms in total including main bedroom, second bedroom,
kitchen dining, lounge, guest bathroom as well as laundry.
The objectives of the project mainly include:
 To construct the bungalow on strip footing
 To include six rooms in the bungalow including bedroom, kitchen, lounge, bathroom as
well as laundry.
 To provide proper business value with the construction of the bungalow project

Project scope description
The scope of the project includes:
 Construction of bungalow project
 Floor must be supported on brick piers and timber joists
 Plastering of internal finish
 Weekly payment to the labourers
 Proper schedule and cost management

The deliverables of the project are reflected below:
 Project plan
 Project status report
 Site prepration report
 Construction progress report
 Inspection of mortage holder
 Construction of bungalow project

The acceptance criteria of the project are elaborated below:

Progress of schedule: If the project can get completed 20% faster than the given
schedule then it will be considered to be successful which means that the client will accept the
project.
Budget: If the entire work of the project gets finished within the time that is provided by
the project manager then the project will be acceptable for the clients as they do not face any
type of financial issues.
Project exclusions
The exclusions of the project are elaborated below:
 Information regarding the project suppliers are not provided within the project
 Training manuals or guides are not provided to the project manager as help as the
project managers who are involved with the bungalow project are highly experienced.
Project constraints
The constraints of the project are mainly listed below:
Budget: If the entire project does not gets completed within the assumed budget then the
chnaces of occurring financial issues are quite high that can further obstruct the progress of the
project.
Time: If the project duration that is needed to be completed is generally increased by
50% then it can obstruct the progress of the project.
Project assumptions
The assumptions that are made within the project are listed below:

 It is assumed that the work week of the project will be mainly based on 50 hr week
 It is assumed by the finacial manager that the budget that is needed for the project
will be finanaced with the help of bank loan.

2.4 Scope validation
Scope validation is mainly defined as one of the procedure that is helpful in formalizing
the acceptance of the completed deliverables of the project. The main benefit of the entire
process is that it generally helps in bringing objectivity for the acceptance process that further
helps in increasing the chances of the final service or result acceptance by proper validation of
each of the project deliverable.
2.5 Roles and responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of the stakeholder who are involved in the project are
reflected in the table below:

Project manager The project manager is responsible of
managing the activities starting from the
initiation phase for constructing the
bungalow.
Construction manager The construction manager is mainly
responsible of managing the constriction work
including the construction of 6 rooms, tiled
roof, external gutters and more.
Labourers The labourers are mainly responsible of
completing the construction work in the
project so that the bungalow can be
effectively constructed.
Suppliers A supplier is the person or the person who

helps in providing business product or
service. They generally provide high quality
of materials for the purpose of bungalow
construction.
Contractor The contractor is mainly responsible of
providing all the materials, labour as well as
equipment for the construction of bungalow.
