5. Explain the
Project management standard framework is the framework that manages the
life cycle of the project along with the methods for the negotiation of the
project and managing the conflicts and stakeholders involved in the process. The
main difference between the project negotiation, conflict management is that
the conflict management discusses about the managing of the constraints those
may encountered in the project. Negotiation process involves negotiation
regarding the cost and timeline of the project between the project management
team and the clients . The stakeholder engagement is the process of involving
the stakeholders in the development of the project (Prati et al. 2016). It can be
said that the proper negotiation of the project will develop the clarity in the
requirement documentation of the project. The proper knowing of the
requirements of the client will help to mitigate the chances of the scope creep in
the project development (McGivern et al. 2018). Application of the proper
standard framework in the development of the project will help in the better
stakeholder engagement and the proper compilation of the project life cycle.
Key aspect of managing of the stakeholders can be derived successful project
negotiation process. In the proper negotiation process the shortcomings in the
requirements and the development are identified (Prenzel and Vanclay 2014) .
This also helps to deliver the actual outcome of the project meeting all the
requirements.
There are certain consequences for the lack of proper project management
framework. The consequences are the project delay and scope creep in the
development of the project . The delay in the project will cost the project
management team to spend extra money and the overall budget of the project
will be increased which is not desirable. On the other hand the scope creep will
make the major changes in the requirements in the development of the project.
The change of the requirements during the development of the project will
cause the delay in the delivery of the outcome of the project resulting the

increase in the budget. Apart form that the presence of the scope creep in the
project will degrade the quality of the project outcome.
There are different tools for avoiding the conflicts in the management of the
project (Ebner and Parlamis 2017). Some of the application which can be used in
this context is the softwares like MS project management, using different charts
and the generation of the timeline from the project management inputs . Apart
from that proper analysis of the risk can also help to mitigate the chances of the
project . In order to analysis the risk work break down structure is helpful.
