PROJECT MANAGEMENT2 Question 1:If you were the project manager, what expertise would you like from sponsor, stakeholders, or core team members to create a milestone schedule with acceptance criteria? The project manager plays a significant role and a high stake in advancing key responsibilities. Therefore, if I were a project manager what I would anticipate from the sponsors is the provision of the initial work statement or the objectives that define the goals and tasks of the organization. I would also expect the sponsor to have selected their interesting proposal from different proposals which would help to realize their requirements. Therefore, sponsors are supposed to have enough knowledge related to the process of pre- chartering. It is the responsibility of the sponsor to be in possession and share their vision about the project. Consequently, the sponsor of the project are supposed to act in favour of: the project and make attempts to deliver what is expected; should encourage the project team and support all members of the project and they should act in favour of other stakeholders to ensure that they can achieve the initial sets goals and objectives of the project. The success of the project calls for the corporation of all project teams that is sponsors, stakeholders and other team members who should work in unison in chartering the project, providing help to the project manager and reviewing the project’s progress throughout the entire project life cycle and making critical decisions as well as supporting members of the project (Kerzner, & Kerzner, 2017). Therefore, as the project manager, the first thing to do is to brainstorm all the projects requirements such as planning, project deliverables, project risks, risk management, scheduling and budgeting with sponsors, stakeholders and project team members. I do not expect the stakeholder to have conflict interest to allow for effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Lastly but not least, I will expect that the project team should be conversant with the project objectives and their specific roles for the successful accomplishment of the project.

Question 2:What would you want to see in a team charter (i.e.,/ rules of engagement) for this development project? Is this different (Agile environment) that other (Traditional- Suburban Homes) environment? If so, how is it different? A team charter acts as a guide which aids the project members to comprehend the objectives of the project, goals, expectations, norms and each member’s responsibility. The charter should outline a structure regarding how the team should operate. For example, it describes the project team members, their duties toward the project, to one another and the team. Indeed, a charter outlines how the team should run by guiding it through conflict, decision-making and at the time when things have gone astray. Some of the things to consider in developing a team charter include: Cesa de Paz is a determined project which is supposed to project its requirements transparently by describing its cause through different communication portals. It should explain how the children and women in the Latin region are supposed to benefit from the project and how it is likely to impact their lives. The team shouldplainly represent the purpose of the organization; how children and women are undergoing domestic violence back in Latin and what arrangements should be put in place to ensure that their small consideration is brought to light. Make use of all communication portals to solicit for money through assigning of volunteer groups the responsibility to raise finances in making arrangements to construct buildings.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT4 A team charter is distinct from the traditional suborn homes because this is not a profit making organization. Therefore, there is no budget which can be set aside for constructing houses and resource allocation in addition to team members (Sverdrup, & Schei, 2015). It is more of a contemporary agile approach whereby every sprint organization can conduct a meeting with various volunteer groups based on the raised money and realized progress to move forward. Question 3:List types of decisions that would need to be made and the appropriate person, group, or method for each, for example, individual team member, the collective team, scrum master, and/or product owner. The process of decision making entails the following: The definition of the problem that is likely to take place Identification of limiting aspects Looking for possible alternatives Picking the best options Executing the right decision Developing an evaluation and control system. When it comes to defining the problem, the project manager is supposed to, first of all, identify the actual problem and provide a concise definition of the problem and the place

PROJECT MANAGEMENT5 that it affects. It is expected that the project manager should have a clear understanding of the required resources, time that will be taken, human resources and necessary equipment needed, supplies, risk management and identify possible limiting factors. Scrum master has to make appropriate considerations by exploring all possible alternatives to the problem prior to making any decision. Nonetheless, to solve the problem of successful implementation demands for a thorough investigation of the requirements, and the way it should be executed. Through recurrent scrum-meetings with different volunteer groups, scrum master help to bind up the collected information together with the goals which should be reached and then implement the solution accordingly. It is essential to pay attention to the needs to be accomplished and how it should be performed by keeping the discussion to the specific requirements to avoid the tendency of the groups to stray and focusing on the work to be accomplished (Morden, 2016). Members are supposed to be encouraged by the scrum master to act creatively in implementing things to improve on the progress of the work. The scrum master should assess every alternative based on feasibility, effectiveness and the outcome. Once the scrum master has completed analyzing the alternatives, the team should decide on the most suitable approach to use by considering an alternative with the most advantages and least disadvantages.
