Introduction
This specific essay depicts the roles and relevance of using best project management
prcatices for improving the current app of Uber drivers. It will offer a directive approach and
excellent driving experiences to the Uber drivers. The PMBOK project management process
deals with different knowledge areas such as scope, schedule, time, cost, procurement,
communication, risk, quality, resource, stakeholders and integration. Different approaches of
project management practices are there and each of these approaches are compared and
contrasted in this essay.
It is expected that if the project management practices are accurately applied for
developing UberNewDriver app then the owners will obtain higher level of competitive
advantages and commercial excellence as well. However, certain risks are identified for the
current app. In order to mitigate theses risks the possible tools and techniques those should be
applied are also elaborated in this essay. It has been assume that if theses risk mitigation

(DeviKrishnaya, Jamaludin & Ismail, 2017). The foremost initiatives that needs to be undertaken

by the project manager and system developer is preparation of a project scope statement
considering the Uber developer’s and clients requirements. The project goals, aim and objectives
are to be set by the project managers at the very ignition development period. The project
manager and the project team members would be able to understand the requirements and govern
the project towards the objectives.
Apart from that, the project manager and the project team members should work on the
accurate knowledge area in terms of communication, stakeholder management as well. In order
to incorporate technical changes respective capital investment is also required. The project
deliverables for the Uber app are very crucial as the drivers have to make some complex kinds of
calculations. In order to assign proper cost, resources ad time the project manager requires
