INTRODUCTION
Project management is approach for planning, managing and controlling on business
activities to achieve its effectiveness. In this regard, goals are accomplished through
implementing strategies and contribution of team workers. The present report is based on
understanding core concepts of project management and software application for tourist
attraction for Philip Island for Australian. However, tools for project management as time to be
consumed, estimated cost and required resources for project are to be described. Including this,
different project plan considerations including financial modelling, human resource
requirements, customer interface requirements will be introduced through this assignment.
Along with this, recommendation for success of project plan are to be identified that impact on
task completion. Thus, learners are able to understand all concepts regarding project
management for increasing tourist attractions and effective information system through this
report.
1) ASSUMPTIONS AND LIMITATION
In the case scenario, it is recognised that Philip Island belonged to tourism sector attracts
approx 200,000 families per year with its travelling and accommodation services. Including this,
it provides satisfactory facilities to a million tourists of the world that is helpful to increase
demand for services also influence on profitability at high level. In addition to this, gained
feedback from customers are quite positive as well satisfactory which can be maintained and
enhanced effectively. However, it is assumed that there is need to improve information system
for tourism services to attract tourists on larger scale (Argirova and Ivanov, 2015). Therefore, a
systematic project plan is to be set for this implementation of project effectively. In addition to
this, it aims to upgrade facilities by providing services using mobile, tablets etc. In this regard,
systematic action plans for implementation is required for adopting new technologies according
to the latest trend. It is assumed that this project will be able to attract tourists at most that
affects productivity and profitability effectively. On behalf of this, project can be accomplished
efficiently to satisfy customers at higher level in relation to time consumption and economy
(Bonnal, 2012).
Limitations: According to critical evaluation, for project, some issues occurred regarding
time management, performance of team members, fund adequacy etc. In this regard, lack of

coordination among team members for working in group, inefficient fund for implementation of
project plan remain as drawback for project (Demeulemeester, Kolisch and Salo, 2013).
Including this, occurrence of different risks in terms of finance, scheduling, coordination etc
Affects management of planned activities. Therefore, all these drawbacks needed to be reduced
impacts on succession of project efficiently.
Thus, it is recognised that project management for Philip Island regarding improving
information systems for increasing satisfaction level of tourists. In accordance to this, it would be
justified for project to implement action plan to attract people across country as well globally
(Jiang and Klein, 2014). Hence, task can be accomplished effectively that is useful for proper
tourism facilities and managing project efficiently.
2) BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
It is essential to maintain and sustain tourists' attraction towards travelling and
accommodation services of Philip Island in Australia. It influences their satisfaction level and
profitability of the entity at high level as well managing project adequately. Through this project,
we are able to understand significance of information systems for tourism services. Similarly,
different ideas are generated for solving out the issues in context of project management
including time, cost and resources used for it efficiently (Lippe and vom, 2016). In addition to
this, several ideas are generated for responding towards issues . Thus, project regarding
enhancing attraction from people on large scale remains able to maintain and sustain market
position which is done through up-gradation.
3) SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
This project has large scope to implement project plan regarding using information
systems and different prospectives for Australian to satisfy tourists on large scale. In this regard,
various tools are used for project management also seems as increasing in demand for travelling
and accommodation services globally. Including this, for accomplishment of this project, it sets
that proper communication between tourists and service providers can be created in the future
that affect demand for facilities, In addition to this, for proper communication with service
takers, it is essential to respond towards problems occurred in tourism (Mir and Pinnington,
2014). For reducing communication gap, project accomplishment is planned that would be
effective for attracting customers on large scale as well profitability of the entity. It is related
