management is solely about the human element people. Motivation is very important, team
building activities will be undertaken before the start of the project to enable the team member

Project Controls
a. Monitoring and control and evaluation procedures
b. Configuration Management Process
c. Change Control and management Process
d. Risk Management, control and mitigation Process
a. Monitoring and Control and evaluation Procedures
Here, the exercise will be used for current and future improvement on projects. While with
controlling, one will be required to check and determine the use of used resources against the
actual resource allocated in the initial project plan, monitoring will be to determine how well the
project activities and results are being utilized to accomplish the desired results and on
deliverables
b. Configuration Management Process
Under this section, we will be more concerned with aligning the final actual project with the
initial project plan, with such exercise, we will be able to avoid mistakes and make sure we
deliver on the deliverables and all the changes that will be done will be well documented
c. Change Control Process
This is where any changes that occur during the initial project that were not anticipated will be
well documented, captured and reported. Any deviation as the project is in process should be

d. Risk Management Process
Any particular project is prone to risks, in any particular project, one cannot avoid risks. Here
we are able to anticipate the risk, document the risk and provide various ways of dealing with the
risk if they will ever occur during the project, considering the nature of the project and putting
mitigation measures in place. For example insurance of the project area, insurance of workers,
and insurance of materials from either theft or inflation will be very important. Onsite risk
reduction will be taken care of by training the workers on safety and taking responsibility of their
work area. A well drafted contract will also be signed and a certificate of completion will be
given to the project sponsor once the work has been complete.
