DSDM Delivery Plan
The DSDM method puts more concentration on the complete cycle (360 degree, all
round) of a project. The DSDM method success is because the best practices states that for any
specified particular project it shall be aligned with a specified well-articulated business strategies
and objectives and focuses on time delivery of actual accrued advantages to the business or
organization. Supporting this DSDM project management methodology are eight critical factors
that will enable team members maintain concentration and achieve project goals and objectives
at a specified stated time without delay and at the budgeted cost.
The eight Principles of DSDM:
 Focusing mainly with organization objectives, strategic vision and mission
 On time delivery on specified deliverables
 Collaboration and integration
 Quality is of utmost importance
 Build and improve incrementally ( improvement)
 Develop and improve from previous history
 Constant and free flowing communication
 Demonstrate control of the entire project

Management Foundations
Purpose of this document
 This document will demonstrate the pathway for managing the entire project and how to
deliver on the deliverables
 This document will describe on how to identify where, amongst the constraints and
variables which are: scope of the entire project, specified time the project is supposed to
take to completion and resources/cost allocation and management, contingency plan is
most likely to be placed for any eventuality.
 This document will be used to identify DSDM methodology to be specifically made in
the utilization in a project while putting into consideration that the DSDM principles and
the utilization of back up plan in case of any eventuality.
 This document will also be used to identify the key individuals and team members, then
clearly describing their work and the flow of communication during the entire period of
the project and the way communication will be flowing between the external resources
with the internal resources).
 This document will also be used to explain in details how the major practices will be
utilized during the actual project. (e.g. Risk Management and control and mitigation of
risks, change management, managing and controlling communication, evaluation and
reporting)
