INTRODUCTION
Project plan is defined as the set of various formal documents that consist all activities
regarding execution and control stages of project. Plan includes various factors such as risk
management, resource management and various others. In this report, Astra PLC organisation is
taken which launches online app regarding health and fitness. This report covers Project plan,
GANTT chart, project scope, Project risk and success of app in market are covered in this project
report.

Project plan
Project plan is defined as the process that includes various activities such as defining
objectives and scope of project, establishing goals and objectives, assigning task and resources at
each step to complete project on time with efficiency (Marassa, 2017). There are various steps
are included in project plan that are mentioned below: Project Initiation: development of application idea Project Planning: Planning of project goals Project Execution: Project management techniques Project Monitoring and Controlling: Floor supervisors Project Closing: Greetings from Project stakeholders
GANTT Chart:
GANTT chart is defined as the project management tool which is use fir activities of
specific project that is which are represented against time. On the left side of chart, activities are
displayed and on the top suitable time is mentioned on which each activities are performed.
Astra PLC represented its activities of online health and fitness app with specific time.

Project scope
Project scope is defined as the outline of various aspects of project that includes various
related activities, timeline, resources, objectives that lead organisation to complete project on
time with efficiency.
Discuss the app design and launch cost: Astra PLC organisation launches online app
for its customers that allow users to set fitness targets. Organisation has high quality trainers and
coaches who guide users about exercises and suggest further activities to achieve their fitness
targets (Preston, 2018). Health and fitness app remind users about their goals and objectives
regarding health and fitness. The estimated cost of launching app is between 2-5K Euros that
includes various expenses like promotion, launching and various others.
Social media integration: Astra PLC uses various social media platform to share
applications features among users that creates healthy behaviour change. To make effective

marketing position, organisation share the progress and working procedure on different social
media sites.
App customisation: App customisation is defined as the process of developing mobile
app that enables users to meet their needs and demands in efficient manner. Astra PLC
organisation customises the health and fitness app to fulfil current specific needs and demands of
users of maintaining their health.
Testing of the app: Astra PLC conduct testing of health and fitness app among users to
identify its functionality, usability and consistency. Respective organisation test application's

There are various types of risks are raised during the developing and launching the online

application. Astra PLC organisation analyse these potential risk factors, evaluate risks and
develop risk management plan to mitigate these risk and enhance optimality of online
application. Some risks are mentioned below:
Cost overruns: Cost overrun is defined as the unexpected change in project budget that
enhances overall cost of project. As there are various techniques and expertise are requires to
develop the online application that enhances cost of developing application. Astra PLC monitor

Delays in
app design: Delays in app designing is the risk factor that enhances overall financial cost and

others.

Project success is defined as the aspect when a project is able to all desired objectives
under determined budget and schedule. Basically, it is considered as the level of efficiency
through project reach its defined objectives on time. Monitoring technique is adopted to measure

influencers, athletes are using this app to know about fitness with exercise. Users have positive
reviews regarding the application and they provide high rating to this application than other
competitive applications (Kasmi, 2019). Astra PLC is able to attain the success of health and

technicality and effective project closer. Users found the app easily accessible with good features
that increases numbers of users and enable the project to achieve all determined objectives on

As per the above, it can be concluded that project plan is the framework or outline that

by the organisation in producing and launching app like issues in compatibility, competition,
delay is designing and cost overruns that impacts all process of app designing. Organisation
develop various planning to mitigate these risk factors in efficient manner.
