Project Title: The element of turnover within the world of business
INTRODUCTION
Within the world of business, the turnover is the terms in business that may cause
confusion as respective topic have above one meaning. It is considered as the overall sales which
are generated through enterprises at specific time duration. Moreover, this is helpful for
measuring the health of business. In addition to this, the turnover is an accounting concept which
computes how quickly a business performs their practices. Also this is the rate at which staff
leaves a business. So, in this report researcher is going to focus upon employee turnover. The
key intent of this report is to perform a qualitative research plan. For this report, the undertaken
company is Marks & Spencer, which is growing retailers that sells home and food items,
clothing and others. The topics which are going to be covered in this report are research topic,
research problem or questions, qualitative and quantitative research, action research, case study
research and data sources. Apart from this, an interview guide is developing in which selection
of interview participants; plan for interview questions and plan for interview analysis are
discussed.

Research Topic:
The turnover is the terms in business that may cause confusion as respective topic have
above one meaning. As this is word which generally accountants used for describing the business
level over a particular time duration that is measured through sales value. Moreover, within the
world of any kind of business, turnover would be the headline item upon profit & loss account
for their enterprises. The term itself might not be utilised, this is replaced through revenue or
sales as confusingly. Additionally, the business may have incomes from several sources so
turnover considered as income for trading that is key business practices. Such as for retailer this
would be over the counter sales; for recruitment firm, this is the fees value for effective
placements and others (The main elements of turnover, 2019). Beside this, Turnover also
considered as the rate at which staff leave a business. But as the issues of staff turnover the
enhancing day by day so the key concern about this research this on employee turnover. For
employee usually undertakes turnover as adverse work area factors. Also, its occurs for various
