Abstract
It is the research project is to ascertain in detail “analyse the overall importance of talent
management process in an organisation of tour and travel industry”. In order to enhance the
understanding about the topic an organization is taken as the base company which is Neilson. In
the present report, researcher conduct various activities in order to perform their task and attain
the goal within limited time period. In order to complete the whole research in an effective
manner, two methods are selected by the researchers with the help of which information’s are
being gathered. Along with this, questionnaires are also developed by the researcher in order to
conclude the whole research. In addition to this, some recommendations are also going to the
management team of the company on the basis of whole research so that they can perform all
their functions in an effective manner.

INTRODUCTION
Talent management is a process which si associated with how organisations are able to
manage their human resource. This is process which is systematic and also related with how
employees are hired in their organisation. There are many steps which are a part of this process
of selecting and retaining employees. The process gets started with planning and ends with the
transition of employees (Akbariani, Farhadirad. and Abachian Ghassemi, 2016). Many different
functions are part of this function such as identity of individual, recognition and providing a
research to employees so that there is designing of respective roles according to requirement in
the organisation. This process has many advantages such as it helps in accomplishing vision,
retaining of employees for a longer duration of time, strengthening of structure of human
resource and proving a competitive advantage to the organisation. This is a report which is based
on travel and tourism industry and the company selected is Neilosn which is a UK's leading
holiday provider and is one of most preferred Companies in tour and tourism sector. This is a
Company which is always willing to attract best talent and retain them in business for a longer
duration of time (Beamond, Farndaleand Härtel, 2016) . This is the reason hwy talent
management has become very important for these organisation. There is always a requirement of
a of hard-working and enthusiastic workforce who can always provide best contribution towards
achievement of organisational objectives. This report is based on various objectives which a
related with management of talent in the organisation. In this report, questionnaire is going to be
developed so that primary data will be gathered in order to complete the whole research. Along
with this, recommendations will be given to the management team of the company so that they
can enhance their efficiency and performance in an effective manner and produce positive
outcome within stipulated time frame.

Rationale of research
Major objective this research is to make appropriate analysis of how the process of talent
management is implemented in a organisation. There are many Companies which are functioning
in travel industry and talent management is very necessary for smooth running of such
organisations. This is a report in which there is careful analysis which has been made can help in
drawing of some conclusions such as how organisation can retain their competent workforce in
their organisation for a longer period of time (Cappelli and Tavis, 2016). This will also help in
utilisation of resources in a more optimum manner. There are many different aspects which are
related with the process of talent management in organisations which have to be understood in
detail so that it can have positive implications on management of employees. There is also a need
for understanding of nature of human resource in their organisation. It is the employees in every
organisation who are solely responsible for achievement of their objectives in the given time

frame and it is duty of management that they have to properly manage them for achievement of
those objectives.
Gantt chart:
This is a 2-d presentation of data in which date is mentioned of different projects according to
theirs starting time and ending time. This is very helpful in development of strategies by a
organisation (Chabbar, and Chami, 201) . It is also one of essential tools which is used by
researcher so that they are able to accomplish their gaols & objectives according to available
time period. In present report also Gantt chart is used by researcher in drawing of results and
outcomes. This will assist in identifying whether the activities are performed on the set time
period or there is any kind of delay or issue faced by them.
