1PROJECT SCOPE AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN
Part A
Adding various features, altering the existing requirements and changing the project goals
that have already been agreed upon might come in as well as disrupt the schedule of the entire
project (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017). This is because the change in requirements or demands
require various additional resources, cost and time that were not accounted for during the
initiation of the project. change in project scope have high chances of causing delays in
delivering a specific task, missed milestones, rise in the planed cost, negative impact in the
quality hence occurring customer dissatisfaction (Shirazi, Kazemipoor & Tavakkoli-
Moghaddam, 2017). The scope change would result in late execution of certain activities and
hence it would also result in the late execution of the overall project.
The project manager would be able to communicate these variances regarding the scope
creep and its impact on the project schedule through a formal meeting, this meeting would be
held between the stakeholders and the project manager. The changes in the scope of project
would be informed to the stakeholders along with the impacts on the schedule of the entire
project, they would also be informed regarding cases where the deadlines of certain activities
would not be met and milestones will be missed (Lientz & Rea, 2016). The new resources that
have been added in the list must be informed to them along with the change in budget. The
