Project Title – Construction of Shop-fit sport outlet retail
Introduction
The project includes the construction of the Shop Fit-Out Sport outlet retail. It comprises of the
shop area along with a small garden wherein the outdoor equipment will be showcased. The report
covers the planning details and activities of the project and also includes the illustration of the
project work breakdown structure along with schedule information using the Gantt chart and
network diagram. The use of MS Project is done as a tool to prepare the schedule details. The
information on the project cost is also covered with the aid of excel spreadsheet. The expected
start date of the project is 1st July 2019 and it is expected to end on 19th September 2019
Assumptions
Some of the assumptions that have been considered for the project are:
The project proposal will be passed by the senior officials and authorities.
The resources will have the respective charges for the project and the resource costs will
be determined accordingly.
The customers and supplier will be paid for the respective payments. The suppliers will be
paid for the tools and services that they will supply and it will be done during the project
execution. The customers will be paid only at the time of the completion of the project.
Project Integration Management
Project Integration management is one of the core areas under project management and it
comprises a set of guidelines and methods to integrate the different project areas. The different
project elements and areas are synced together so that the integrated project goals and aims may
be achieved.
Project Scope Management
The scope of the project comprises of the set of activities and tasks that will be executed by the
members of the project team. It also comprises of the activities that the team will not cover. The
guidelines to manage the same are termed as project scope management.
In-scope
The following activities and items will come under the scope:
Completion of the site inspection for the construction
Approvals and permissions to carry out the construction tasks
Selection and procurement of tools and material
Out-of-scope
The members of the project team will not carry out the marketing and the recruitment of the
external resources for the project.

Project Time Management
The time management in the project is the task and core areas under project management that
includes the guidelines for managing the project schedule. It comprises of the mechanisms that
shall be followed to handle the project schedule and make sure that the deliverables are provided
on time.
The Gantt chart of the project is the tool which is used to represent the project timeline in a
graphical manner. The timeline is represented in the form of the graphs and the activities
completed and pending can be identified from the same.
