INTRODUCTION
The primary objective of this particular plan is to highlight the basic
processes and procedures that takes place within the Rayth organization
while including information system that will manage the supply chain. This
will create a significant impact on the supply chain management that is
followed by the organization. The procurement project management plan
aims at setting proper effective framework that can outline the primary
requirements related with the particular project. This satisfies the basic
needs that are related with the particular project are being addressed
successfully within the procurement plan. The project plan will focus entirely
on discussing the roles and responsibilities that are associated with
executing the subcontractors, materials logistics and purchase order. The
organization is a construction based industry that focuses entirely on
implementing an information system that will be able to meet the needs of
the customer and will able to manage the products in going and outgoing
data. The main key aspect of the project management plan is the
procurement project management plan and is also considered as the critical
part as it is important to choose an appropriate seller, supplier and clients.
This plan will also help in managing the most important risks which closely
effects the project performance. The main items that are needed to be
procured in this plan includes the data regarding the seller, main
stakeholders and the data of materials regarding the contracts. The contract
can be approved only when all the basic needs of the organization is full
filled with the process of information system implementation. It is expected
that the development of the information system will ensure a better way of
activity management and this contributes towards maintaining a proper flow
within the supply chain. The plan for the project will include identifying the
risks that are likely to arise with the implementation of information system,
risk management strategies and the costs that are going to come along with
the implementation of this project.
PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT APPROACH
The procurement management plan for this project is to identify the
functionalities that will be delivered with the use of the information system.
The main responsibilities that are associated with implementing information
system in the selected organization is to ensure that the activities associated
with the supply chain management are being completed successfully. For
executing the project it is important to assign a proper project manager who
will be responsible for carrying out the activities. The project manager will

focus on dividing the activities towards the team members so that the
project can be executed smoothly. Once the list of activities are being
performed successfully than it becomes essential to review the list of data by
the project management office. The procurement items that are associated
with the project is to check the inventory cost, to determine the seller, to
identify the supplier and ensure that the project is being carried out
successfully by meeting the needs of the project.
PROCUREMENT DEFINITION
This part of the plan will include defining the products that are needed to be
procured. The items that comes under the procurement includes determining
the inventory cost, identifying the seller and ensure that proper supplier are
selected for carrying out the project. It can be stated that with the
implementation of information system it will become easy to manage the
data related to each activities. The information system will aim at focusing
on managing the data related to the sales and supply management system.
